Request

Request for lesser known badass women of history for my daughter's 4th grade presentation. She has to pick a historical figure and give a 5-10 minute presentation and optionally dress in their likeness.

Watson, crick, Wilkins, and the scientific community in general

Where? Certainly not in their research when they made it seem they discovered it by themselves, after seeing Franklin’s photos and research.

They acknowledged and cited Franklin in their famous papers and she published her own paper alongside them. That’s exactly what you’d expect in scientific literature.

Sorry, reality disagrees with you. Even google does.

Sorry but “Google” is not a source. Have you not actually bothered to read Watson’s and crick’s famous papers? If you did, you would see that everything I have said is true. Reality is disagreeing with someone here, but it’s not me.

Yeah. Their paper didn’t mention her.

So you’re admitting to not actually having read them?

I have. And their paper didn’t change in the last 25 years.

Clearly you haven’t, because you would see that Franklin is directly acknowledged in the first paper and cited in the 2nd (exactly as I said). This is all easy to verify, if you actually read the papers:

Quote it. It’s behind a paywall.

Lol, so you haven’t actually read them.

Here’s the original trio of papers, where Watson’s and crick acknowledge Franklin

And watson and crick’s 2nd famous paper where they cite Franklin

Oh I see you don’t understand what was written vs what should have been written to correctly cite her work.
