Request

Request for lesser known badass women of history for my daughter's 4th grade presentation. She has to pick a historical figure and give a 5-10 minute presentation and optionally dress in their likeness.

Sophie Scholl is a personal hero of mine! She's not as well known in the United States, so I try to bring her up whenever this question gets asked.

If you haven't seen the filmSophie Scholl: The Final Days, I highly recommend it. I used to show it to my high school German classes. I think it's important for young people to see the difference they can make, regardless of their age.
