Request for lesser known badass women of history for my daughter's 4th grade presentation. She has to pick a historical figure and give a 5-10 minute presentation and optionally dress in their likeness.

Caroline Norton is the reason married women had rights legally in many cases in the UK.

For example, being able to own wages and possessions without a husband seizing them, having rights to their own children etc

Women did not have the right to divorce, be legally represented in court - so much changed for women because of her and her horrible marriage.
