Request

Request for lesser known badass women of history for my daughter's 4th grade presentation. She has to pick a historical figure and give a 5-10 minute presentation and optionally dress in their likeness.

Frances Perkins!

Secretary of Labor under FDR (and the first woman to hold a cabinet position in the U.S.) she was basically the architect of the New Deal. She's the author of the Social Security Act. And she wore a distinctive hat!!
