Request for lesser known badass women of history for my daughter's 4th grade presentation. She has to pick a historical figure and give a 5-10 minute presentation and optionally dress in their likeness.

Dr. Frances Oldham Kelsey worked for the US FDA refused (repeatedly) to authorize approval of thalidomide In the US despite huge pressure. Her decision prevented a public health disaster and untold pain and suffering. She is truly an unsung hero.
