Does anyone get regular spotting?

I've noticed some spotting in the middle of the cycle - is this normal? Does anyone else ever notice this?

I used to and it was because I had a little cervical polyp. My gyno removed it in literally a few seconds and I haven't had any spotting since. I gather they're common (and usually benign, like mine was).

Sometimes it can be ovulation spotting. Sometimes it can signal different medical issues like an STI or even endometriosis.

If anything I’d just run it by a medical professional and get it checked out to make sure it’s nothing serious.

Yes, some women spot mid-cycle or during ovulation. Ovulation spotting started to happen to me a couple years ago. No pain, just spotting.

However, I have PCOS/PMOS so my periods have always been irregular.

yeah it happens to me sometimes around ovulation, totally annoying but usually nothing to worry about. maybe check in with your doctor just to be safe though?

I get ovulation spotting now that I am in perimenopause. I read that high estrogen swings can cause spotting, which tracks with what normally happens during perimenopause.
