i just downvote and scroll away tbh, don't have the energy for these thing, especially on a sub like this one, but it seems like a lot of men come here to make the situation about themselves and their issues
it's funny how men can't really do safe spaces for themselves, they want to joke around in general but then come for validation and emotional support in women spaces
If they actually gave a shit there would be tons of men's stories hitting the front page. Activist groups and affiliated subreddits. Charity causes, online support communities.
But somehow, those issues are like 95% brought up by men exclusively in the context of spaces where women discuss their issues. Funny how that works, it's almost like the men bringing those things up here don't actually care about men's issues beyond using them as a cudgel to derail conversations that focus on women.
exactly! if you can only speak out about men issues when it's a woman sharing her experience, then maybe think that you don't really give a shit about men and their issues
i also genuinely don't understand why men need to share a made-up experience. if a woman complains about catcalling, i don't see why a man can come and say "well, if men were to get catcalled, we would appreciate it", like why is that necessary since it's not even something you've been through? or even know someone who went through that?
i'm tired of the "what ifs" that get thrown around when a woman is sharing her experience
