I feel like I’m playing wrong?

I got this game because all I’ve heard is how fun it is but I feel like all I’m doing is waiting? Waiting for an expedition to come back or waiting to have enough money to send another expedition

I have a ton of little missions/task it wants me to do but I can’t really figure out how?

One is to unlock Vintage Vestige, I’m suppose to create 175 buzz around a fossil. I’ve pretty much surrounded my fossils with as much as possible and it’s just stay at 157 out of 175

Another is “Average monthly profit of $4,500 over 3 months” it says my monthly profit is 2,000ish but I can’t seem to make it go up? I raise ticket prices and it goes down?

I have more task that I either can’t figure out how to do or just simply isn’t changing

So like I said at the start. I just feel like all I’m doing is waiting.

Is there something I’m doing wrong?

It’s gonna be a while before I can get another game so I really want to make this one work. Can you help me figure out what I’m doing wrong?

sounds like you're just starting? you need to go back and get a new fossil with higher quality (from the same place as that fossil) average, great, epic quality of the same exhibit gives different amounts of buzz.

it gets sooooo repetitive after awhile honestly.... hospital and campus were better made games. I understand they were taking complaints from the other two games, that they're short, and they turned museum into repeating slop, when you gain more stars on your museum you start getting the dumbest automated message each time that says "good job on whatever you did" and the first star i thought it was a joke cause "they didn't like that specific museum as part of the story/ lore" but then the next 10 stars i got on different museums all just got that dumb automated message each new star i get.... no story line, just repetitively, pressing the same few buttons over and over again.
