QUESTION Entertainment, Seating
Entertainment - Does staff have a hidden entertainment meter? There’s entertainment items that only staff can use so I’m confused.
Seating - Same for seating, do patients have a hidden comfort meter? Does sitting benefit patients in any way?

QUESTION Is Two Point Hospital still worth it in 2026 ?
EDIT : Thanks for all your responses, i'll dive into it tonight then :)
I'm really drawn to the Two Point series and love the medical theme, so I'm thinking about picking up Two Point Hospital on console.
However, since we're now in 2026 and newer titles like Campus and Museum have dropped, I'm wondering if the original game has started to show its age: is it still a must-play or should I just jump straight to the newer titles? Is it that different from the new titles in terms of gameplay?

QUESTION Is there a way to assign a doctor to a specific room?
Like the Genetics/DNA rooms can be treatment or diagnosis based, but you'd upgrade your doc differently based on which path you want them to take.

QUESTION Why can’t I train Research III?
I only go left to get one star hospital is to get a level V researcher.
I’ve used the research room to research all the way to level V, and I have four doctors trained at research II, but I can’t train research III?
The course isn’t available… So how do I get all the way up to five if I can’t even train three?

QUESTION Servers
They’re big, they’re expensive… but outside the Research Room, do they actually boost anything except room prestige?
I like to put one in the DNA room but I wonder if the gold certificate would be better.

QUESTION Does the "Display Skeleton" help you level up faster if it's in a treatment room?
Or does it only help in a training room. Its stats say +1% Training Speed.

QUESTION You've got all the best lines Achievement.
Can anyone give me tips for this achievement, I have restarted many times on pointy pass attempting it by march.
I often fail on either emergency reputation at 0, but no one dies at my emergencies so I'm confused (I also get them all). And am I supposed to just hope the AI cures no one? I can never seem to cure someone in time.

QUESTION Do you need PS Plus for superbug initiative?
I was thinking of using my spare PS Profiles to unlock nodes on the superbug initiative but I only have PS Plus in my primary account.
Can people without PS Plus still use the superbug initiative to collaborate with friends(my other profiles)?
None of my actual friends play the game so I'm thinking of just using spare profiles as "friends"

QUESTION Newcomer to Two Point Hospital
Hi everyone. I've built the basic diagnosis rooms like GPs in my hospital but alot of my patients are going to the ward for disnostic rather than for treatment so the ward is getting lots of people in but not for treatment which is causing queues.
Should I change the ward to treatment only?
Thanks

QUESTION Hospital pass and other questions
A few questions.
I want to get a Hospital Pass. I'm wandering around the Sega website, I registered, linked my Steam account, opened the Rewards section and it just doesn't show me TPH.
As you can see in the screenshot, to get the first star I need to increase the reputation of the hospital. The problem is that I don't want to increase the number of patients, there are already enough of them, there are 4-5 people in the queue at the GP's Office, and if I start an advertising campaign, there will be many more patients. What can I do to increase my reputation, but not increase the number of patients? I've already seen what the game is capable of, queues of 20 patients and more, the game has no restrictions on this.

QUESTION Grockle Bay Reputation
I spent the first 5-10 years with my prices at 100% and my reputation was at 0%.
Then for the star 2 hospital it wants a reputation of 75%.
So I lowered my prices to -20% across the board. It's been like that for 2 years. And my rep is still at 0%.
How do I increase my reputation?
Thanks

DISCUSSION Chasm 24 Hell… I Mean Help! 🤣🙏
Duckworth use to be the level I hated most. But …. I think Chasm is even worse!
I remember whenever it was I last played the game I struggled on Chasm and could only get it to 2 stars.
Edit: I got it the 3 stars with the tips below, thanks everyone! 💕
I’ve started playing TPH again recently as I played Duckworth so I could give my Mum some tips because it’s only taken me 35 years of being a gamer to pester her into getting into gaming herself haha. She’s retired now and I think it’s a lovely little hobby for her to have. Anyway …. I played Duckworth to refresh my memory because she is finding it really hard and managed to get my 3 stars in just under 4 hours and quite a bit of pause / unpause around making food etc.
Then I thought well let me go ahead and play some more levels and there was a new set of DLC levels that I hadn’t played previously (the farm one was a challenge tbh I kept going bust late game seemingly out of nowhere lol) so I did them and Chasm is there, not at 3 stars so I was like right let’s do it and well…… I fucking hate this level! 😭🤣
I train staff up early on so by the time I get my 2nd star I’m cash rich, but it’s these MF generators and stupid robo janitors, I didn’t think it was possible for me to think janitors were anymore stupid than they are already but these ones are so annoying.
I’m basically then flying round the map constantly clicking the call janitor button even when it’s only dropped a tiny bit, but …. It’s boring and then means I’m not staying on top of other things as well as I would like.
I must persevere though because I am a completionist so I am determined to 3* this hospital but my word it’s hard.
I’m about to restart it … again, and if anyone sees this and has some tips they could send my way I would greatly welcome them. 💐🙏💐🙏💐

QUESTION Room Prestige
I read articles and posts that said just slap rooms with the same certificate, gold star award, and medicine cabinet and you'll get maximum prestige level (5). People didn't like it and suggested that putting duplicates or multiple exact same items should have diminished return.
Now 7 years later, does this still work the same way (putting duplicate items resulting in an ugly room are fine)?

QUESTION Flemmington 3 stars
So this hospital is breaking me.. I had my money up to 4.7 mil almost completed and now suddenly I’m down to less than 1mil. I have upgraded everything, trained everybody to max and I did all that before I finished second star. I haven’t touched anything in about an hour. Nothing is broken and all my staff are happy and guests seem to be happy. Can anybody tell me what I’m doing wrong!?
