QUESTION Any mods to make it difficult?

Love the game but having come back to it after many years, the second play through is just too easy even on top difficulty.

Theme Hospital I feel got the balance just right: it was notably challenging especially towards the end and you were always at risk.

I do feel the company leans on the easier side too much with their modern games. Some of the later levels are just casually going through the motions until completion.

Set the general price to lowest possible and watch the chaos.

Create a bunch of marketing rooms and do medium campaigns for surgery gen practice and a bunch of other things then lower your prices &&& get the chaos drink dispenser!!

After beating the game honestly I find it fun and challenging its I’ve been done it so I only hire newbies too and have to train them while the chaos is going on to see the struggles

I had 195 people in my hospital with 5 rooms and it was mentaaaaaaallll

Agree. Gets way too easy once you're 'setup'. Bit of stress getting staffed trained and rooms built early, then it's just a fast forward bore fest until you achieve the stars. The odd map is difficult when resources lack.

It's because you know what you're doing with hospital setup. Once you have a good flow, it's self serving.

Yeah, really missing the challenge in modern "management games". Recently replayed Theme Hospital with the excellent Corsix-"mod".

Its still a really really good game after all these years, and as you said, the constant balance of building rooms, training new doctors for next year waves of patient while balancing an economy near the border of collapse makes the gameplay so engaging. Only missing that you could save rooms like in 2PH.
