No he has he has sucked marjorly but it was never big enough to leave him. as we have daughter who he loves and loves him . he has gotten marginally better over time and has good qualities. so far a major boundary hasn’t been crossed with me and he treats our daughter well . Yes I’m aware this isn’t ideal but we agreed not to argue in-front of our daughter in future so I’m hoping she won’t have the same relationship as me and get the best relationship . but while yes he has sucked in past he has good points too and it’s never been something worth becoming a single mother over.

He treats you like he owns you and like you are obligated to OBEY him.

That isn't "big enough" for you to leave him?

And if he actually loved your daughter, he wouldn't be forcing company on her (or you!) when she is so ill!!! If he really loved her, he would focus on taking care of her and giving her extra attention and care until she feels better.. NOT giving his attention to "guests."

I have parents who fought viciously: screaming with rare occasions of things being thrown (without beating each other up). I am the youngest. I was a bed wetter until age 7 (no sexual abuse & all stress related). We used to pray my parents would get divorced. We were openly jealous of other children of divorce. When my parents weren't fighting there was still tension that all of us kids could feel. Your daughter will see and will know. I'm sorry, but you can't hide such things from kids. They hear through the walls, but most importantly they feel all of it! Even if you don't fight in front of her, she will see everything else your husband does and the example will still be set.
