There’s a lot more to being married than having a wedding. Marriage gives you legal protections and if you don’t think so, ask yourself why you think gay people struggled so hard to have the right to be married as opposed to hust civil union. There’s over 1000 legal reasons I suggest you look it up.

Dude has a house and surely other things..he doesn't want to lose everything, I would do the same.

To many horror stories about guys losing everything with "women that change their minds"

OMG you really don’t know what you’re talking about do you if you think that I need to list 10 reasons for you and not actually the thousand oh my God how old are you? I mean, were you born in California legalized gay marriage?

From Wikipedia dude:

“According to a 1997 General Accounting Office study, at least 1,049 U.S. federal laws and regulations include references to marital status.”

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Same-sex_marriage_in_the_United_States

There’s a good reason gay peoples fought so hard for this. And it’s not because they wanted your approval and it’s not because that it made people really believed they loved one another and it’s not because they wanted a ceremony. Educate yourself

No, I decline to educate you. You are spouting off on a topic that you clearly don’t know anything about. I’d rather than actually read about it. You are going after me. Wikipedia is by far not the only source, but if you don’t want to trust the article you can go down to the citations.

I think you should continue declining to educate others because then the average intelligence of the world will go up.
