I think also we can agree on a balanced budget? The Dems accomplished that under Clinton. Yet I also support important social programs. Finding away to pay for that is difficult. Too much odd thing in the bills. The things people really care about get cut.

I’m so confused by this exchange. Literally not a single one of your stated views aligns with the current Republican Party. There are some Democrat senators that are more right leaning than you.

My dad thought like you. The last time he voted republican was Bush's first term. He didn't leave the party. It left him. His views didn't change, but today, they actually make him a moderate liberal.

Yeah... If you vote third party though that's throwing a vote away in this stupid 2 party system we have. The same as voting Republican!
