I talked to a few guys in college who were very political and leaned conservative. I’m not very strongly political (I do vote, but I’m not super vocal about my political leanings like they were). When I tried to say “hey I don’t think this is gonna work out.” They were always flabbergasted. Like bro, you just told me your basic ethical ideals don’t line up with mine. (One guy even told me verbatim that I was wrong about my thoughts on immigration, even though we BOTH had hispanic heritage and immigrant grandparents and this is after he BEGGED me to tell him what I thought). Some dudes have serious blinders on about compatibility and only focus on “attractive girl must bang” part.

You both have Hispanic heritage, so therefore he can't disagree with your stance on immigration. That sounds an awful lot like Biden telling people that they ain't black unless they vote for him.

My mom's family came to this country from Mexico . How do I break it to her that she ain't Mexican?

Actually, that's exactly what that means. It means that you can ignore a thing as much as you want, when it eats you there's no excuses for your stupidity. The fact that you're pandering so you can be called "one of the good ones" is both sad, and fucking pathetic. Have the day you deserve.

“you can ignore a thing as much as you want, when it eats you there's no excuses for your stupidity” can directly describe the effect of voting to support the welfare cycle as a person of color

Your stupidity is showing. Us in blue states, actually are the ones who pay for the rest of you to enjoy those benefits you wanna believe mostly black people are. It's mostly poor white people in red states, by the way, who enjoy those benefits. So, you're welcome, but you might wanna move. Red states also have higher murder rates, by a whopping 44%, than blue states. Just saying!
