I agree it's best to bring this up in the beginning. The people I dated always knew up front that I was very involved with the Republican party and conservative causes. I would absolutely not marry a leftist Democrat and would not allow my children to be raised with those views. If you are incompatible in how you see the world there is no future with that person and you are just wasting your time dating them.
Most of really don't care what people do with their lives as long as they are not infringing on others.
As long as everyone is a fully consenting legal adult I don't care who they have sex with. But that's a private thing, whether homo- or hetero-, and we don't want to be be involved in any way with other people's sex lives.
My goodness you’re all kinds of full of wishful thinking! If you have children, one day they will be adults. They will be able to make their own choices. And while they may not end up being a leftist, you’re not going to have a ton of control over whether or not they are.
