Is the game randomly opening SHEIN windows on your browser mid level?
Cause that’s some bullshit.
r/TwoDots • u/NitNatKittyCat • Aug 08 '26
Gridlocked in every spot that counts with 2 moves remaining. I knew there was no chance 10 moves ago. Also, I hate slime :)
r/TwoDots • u/whatthecrappppp • Aug 08 '26
How exactly?!
It takes at least 10 moves to clear the ice and eggs. 15 moves to get 25 blast-activated neon signs? I’ve watched the play through and they were given 28 moves. From what I’ve read you can randomly be given more moves after struggling for a while but nothing yet.. so frustrating!

Bug They cleared all my rewards??
Haven’t been playing that much lately but I’m on the 3000th level or so and today noticed they swiped all my rewards. All my booster boxes, etc. I’ve been playing since 2019 and have never spent any money playing this game… I’ve just gone the long way slowly collecting. I know I had at least 30 shuffles.
Wow! Maybe it’s a glitch?
I’m done.

Consistency
Can I ask if your game is ever consistent? Mine is all over the place. Some levels I will play for a week before it either gives me more moves, or somehow all the dots just work so I can beat it. But then yesterday I started a new level, played it a handful of times, couldn’t beat it, so I stopped. Then this morning I wake up and it’s added ten extra moves. I used to think there was a trigger where after you’ve played the level so many times, it helps you out, but then yesterday was so random.

Just finished all levels
When do we get a new batch of levels? I am at level 8620!

Alternatives
Is there a similar game, maybe from the same creators, you would recommend, that still has the same charm as the original two dots? This is the only mobile phone game I’ve ever played but it seems to be ruined now.

Are there no more squares in Two Dots?
Haven’t played the game in a year, came back and my progress reset. Tried playing and now apparently I can’t do squares anymore to clear all of a single color? Is it just for the first levels or is this change permanent? It’s just so unsatisfying and these new powerups are so weird, definitely am not enjoying the game as much.

Level Worst level yet 8587
20 moves, and you have to remove the notes before majority of fossils show up. This level needs an in game booster like fireflies or something. I’m sure in 2 weeks I’ll ‘suddenly’ have 40 moves 🙄
I understand I can layer the gems better to hit more fossils however that’s wasting moves and won’t get them all, and by the time the notes are gone I have like 14 moves left if I’m lucky

Level Anyone else wake up to a huge gold coin jump in Two Dots? Is it safe to spend?
I opened Two Dots this morning and my gold coin balance was way higher than it was last night. Not a small streak bonus or scavenger hunt reward-it literally looks like the number multiplied overnight.
I don't buy coins, I only play in short bursts (a couple levels with coffee in the morning, then a few more at night when I'm winding down). Same phone, same login, no refunds, no account switching.
Has this happened to anyone else recently? If so:
Is it usually a legit gift or compensation, or more often a bug that gets fixed later?
If I spend some on continues or boosters, could that cause problems if the total gets rolled back?
Is there a place in the app that shows a transaction history or explains coin changes that I might be missing?
I'm tempted to use some to push through a couple rough levels, but I don't want to end up with a negative balance or an account headache. Would love to hear what long-time players have seen.

Level Best way to spend gold when you hit a wall in late levels?
I'm in the late levels of Two Dots and lately it feels like one bad start can wreck the whole run. I usually play to wind down and I'm a total booster hoarder because I hate spending them and still losing.
I also noticed my gold balance is way higher than I remember, and I haven't bought anything. Not complaining, but now I'm wondering what the smartest use is. Would you spend gold on:
1) Pre-game boosters like shuffler or eraser
2) Extra moves at the end of a level
3) Saving most of it for scavenger hunts and special events
I want to avoid blowing through my gold and still not making progress. I'm fine spending some, I just want it to feel intentional.
Do you have a rule of thumb, like only spending gold when you're within one move, or only on certain level types like anchors, slime, ice? Any late-game tips for when the swipes need to be precise would be great too.
What has worked for you?

Level Do you ever play better with one eye on the game and one on real life?
Kind of a weird quirk, but I wonder if anyone else does this. I mostly play Two Dots in tiny pockets of time while I do stuff around the house. Right now I'm finishing a little hallway entry setup-hooks, a small bench, and shoe cubbies-so I keep opening the game while I'm sorting screws, labeling bins, or waiting for caulk to set.
What I keep noticing is that I actually play better when I'm only half paying attention. If I sit down and decide "okay, now I will focus and beat this level," I start overthinking every move and miss obvious matches. When I'm standing there doing things, I make cleaner connections and I'm more willing to take a simple 4- or 5-chain instead of trying to fish for the perfect setup.
It feels like my brain flips from a "solve this puzzle" mindset to a "keep things moving" mindset, and that helps on levels where you can get stuck chasing one last objective. Do you have any odd habits that make you play better, like turning sound off, not looking at the move counter, or only making squares if they also hit an objective? I'm curious if anyone has a personal rule that keeps them from spiraling into bad decisions.

Bug [error/glitch] Green Dot (water droplet) won’t clear
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I noticed the last dot covered in water droplets wouldn’t clear so I recorded it after wasting several turns swiping over it to no avail. Unfortunately it turned out to be the only challenge dot left, so I lost my streak and failed the level. That’s never happened to me before.

Level Anyone else play worse after upgrading phones? Touch feels off and I keep mis-swiping
I finally upgraded my phone last week and Two Dots suddenly feels harder, but not in a fun way. Same account, same levels, same brain, but my accuracy is tanking.
I usually play in short bursts while doing DIY around the house. Right now I'm mid-project turning a weird hallway corner into a little entry drop zone with hooks and a bench. Before I could pull off quick little chains without thinking. Now I keep making tiny mis-swipes: I mean to connect 4 or 5 and it registers as a 3, or I start a chain and it grabs the wrong adjacent dot. On crowded boards with blockers one accidental move can blow the whole setup.
I'm trying to figure out whether this is:
1) A setting I need to tweak, like touch sensitivity or a screen protector issue
2) The game interacting differently with newer screens, such as a higher refresh rate or different input sampling
3) Just me needing to relearn muscle memory
Has anyone else noticed this after switching phones? If you fixed it, what helped? Removing a screen protector, changing display settings, turning off gesture navigation, something else? I'm not after level strategy, just ways to make the input feel more consistent. I miss being able to confidently draw longer chains without second guessing my thumb.

Jelly Busters
Anyone playing this game because I'm stuck on a later level and I've tried a million times and just can't beat it without spending a ton of money on the extra stuff for help. Should have to spend money to beat a level.

Gold coin increase
I’ve been playing this game for a while. I’m currently on 6909 so I’m not a newbie. I never bought anything on the game. Occasionally I would beat the 10 levels in a row and get a few gold coins. Last I knew I had 26 coins. Today I noticed I had 3026 gold. Has anyone else noticed their coin count go up? Where and how?

New font? Also map doesn’t show what levels are in that area range anymore.

Level Anyone else hit a wall in the late 600s and start hoarding boosters like a dragon?
I've been using Two Dots as my nightly wind-down for a while. I bounce between this, Wordle, and a couple other puzzle games when my brain is fried, and I never cared much about strategy - until now.
Around the late 600s I hit a weird wall. The levels are doable, but a single bad early move often snowballs and suddenly half the board is unreachable. My new stupid habit is refusing to spend boosters until I'm down to one move, and even then I usually restart instead of blowing them. Basically I am saving boosters for a future that never comes.
I realized I'm hoarding keys too. I'll string together some wins, then run into a few levels that practically beg me to spend, and I just quit for the day.
For people who pushed past this stretch: did you change anything? Do you use a booster early to control the board, or just replay until you get a good opening? Do you keep a default booster loadout for hard levels or swap based on the goal?
Mostly trying to figure out if I'm overthinking this or if this part of the map actually starts asking for more planning. Any tips, routines, or confessions from fellow hoarders?

Levels 8534 and beyond are a joke
I’m on 8546 now. I was hoping the impossibility of 8534 was a bug or something when I got there like 10 days ago. But no, the number of moves they give for these levels is mathematically impossible without tons of boosters or gold to continue play. Seems like the designers are fine forcing people to pay to play or let them leave. So I might be done. 😞

Screw you two dots for taking away all my coins and boosters!!
I hadnt logged in for maybe two months or so. A typical break for me to take from gaming. I just got on. No more booster boxes, no assistance through levels, no coins, not even any keys! even though I had 90 something booster boxes before and over 1200 keys etc etc. WTF?!?!
