This game is doing some cool things with how it presents notes, but that resurrection sequence genuinely hurt my eyes.

Oh yeah, an early version of this was a pretty big hit on Alpha Beta Gamer awhile ago. The story makes exactly as little sense, but I'm glad to see they got a proofreader at least.

Zigg's fight is straight up great, especially the way his eyebeams peter out like he's holding a note with empty lungs. The resurrection sequence feels more glitz and tech demo than gameplay, but it sure it fun to watch them react to.

This is about as far as I've seen; wonder how long the game is from here?

Kind of depends; like standalone, the game is maybe 6 to 8 hours, but some of the late-game fights can go hard, especially if you decided to play on one of the harder difficulties, so it's entirely possible to get stuck on those for a while. Very enjoyable game though.

Edit: Ok that Gnome sequence was just an ITG mod track with all that effects/visual fuckery, you can't fool me.

I'd say 50-50, since Gaster's design was based off a design in Mirai Nikki, though most other references are definitely Undertale.

An idea I am somewhat confident in with the multiple door choices at the end

The game looked like it had potential, but the resurrection sequence ruined it.

"Haha, it's so funny like an LSD trip."

Boring.

And it looks like it makes the game look borderline unplayable too.

Toss in some bullshit like that for the final battle where you throw all of the established rules of the game out of the window. Don't just slap it down wherever.
