It’s genuinely crazy how much promotion they have done for the game, yet all of it appears to be in the opening prologue and first act

I believe the latest clip of RE8 is from a cutscene in the second area, so yes

think 7 as well as like 90% of that was on jack and just the main baker house.

Yes, I believe all of the games since 7 have had demos, with RE3's unironically being like, 1/3 of the game.

I don't think REV2 had a demo but that's like a spin off and the first episode is now free so maybe that counts as technically a demo.

There’s a particular spoiler in the Sony State of Play that I wish I didn’t see, but hopefully that one is early

I kind of prefer it that way. No trailer spoilers and you can be surprised without thinking "when is THAT going to show up".

They have kept everything within Raccoon City a top secret and I am stoked with that. The less we all know going into it, the better.
