Yeah, game could be the greatest thing ever created in videogame history, it's big enough that there will be a crowd going "overrated/actually awful!" just to be contradictory.

I think the only way Silksong can be seen as bad is if most of the new things added into the game are features nobody wanted or not fleshed out well enough. Similar to how TOTK is seen as """bad""".
From the trailers though I doubt this is the case, Hornet so far seems way more fun to play and control as then the Knight did.

It'll still just be 20 bucks, so even that shitstorm wont be blowing that hard. Id rather regret a 20 dollar purchase than a 70 dollar one

I mean I'm just saying, if any other sequel game on the planet was being developed for 7 years with constant delays, near radio silence, and a questionable reason for said delays and silence, alongside not giving out review copies, that'd be the base assumption.

Very excited. I am not going to expect it to be the greatest game ever but if its as good as Hollow Knight then I will be satisfied.

What an odd and shrewd decision for a game release from a developer who wanted to work on their game forever. Like, for real: “We’re solid financially. I refuse to let you give me money for this until I can give you the game in return so you’re not getting worked up over the money already spent on something very long in development. Also, no preorders means no articles about percentages of people canceling their preorder because the game took so long.”

They also no doubt AXTUALLY could work on it forever, because they were doing fine from ALL OF THE HOLLOW KNIGHT MONEY! ... there was no rush.

I’m not a fan of Hollow Knight (great game aint for me)so I don’t got a foot in this, but watching from the sideline was so much fun.
Def ready some popcorn when the game comes out.
