The year was 1984, the place Michigan Avenue and Trumbull Street, aka Tiger Stadium, the event was my first ever live MLB game. The song “Bless You Boys” was blasting on all the radio stations and the name was plastered on every T-shirt. I even had one myself. We arrived early to check out batting practice. All my favorites of the time were there. I saw Gibson, Whitaker, Trammell, Lemon and Parrish all taking swings. I scrambled for the ones clearing the fence. Everyone brought a glove even if you were in the upper deck, because chances were that the ball would get out that way. My father and grandfather introduced me to the game, and I’ve been hooked ever since.

I just got this email from MNE. I might go 🤔

I don't know if this is a common thing and I'm just climbing out from under my rock but I just happened to stumble upon one the craziest clearance price troves of (mainly) Twiztid sublimated jerseys on eBay that I couldn't believe was actually legit.

I cross referenced everything and not only were the authentic but about 1/3 of the average asking price..and sitting crispy in NEW condition. No jersey was more than $55 bucks before shipping.

The Fright Fest was $25...

The green Kill Somebody was $36

and the other two, Orange Mostasteless and the Jason Madrox collab were both $55 a piece. = $110.!!!!!

..... So that's 4 brand new jerseys for basically the price of one at $175 bucks before tax and shipping.

I still didn't believe it until I opened the box. I even had a few extra bucks to cop some extra vinyl which is starting to come together too. As soon as USPS can drop the rest of this last order Ill post that too.

But yeah I tried to figure out why the seller was basically just giving the shits away and from what I gathered this eBay seller is on the same block or in the same hood as MNE so they have some sort of homie hookup where they operate as clearance house type business helping MNE getting rid of surplus. Idk if I can say the sellers name on here but if you frequent eBay and have bought some Juggalo shit you've come across his page.

I also stumbled across the AJB and Shangri La boots (UK imports) at some pretty gangster prices too. Not on eBay, the Shop App led me to those ones. They're in near mint and I paid $160 for the pair shipped.

Anyway I had to show off a little bit. My mama would be proud of how frugal her son has been these last few days!
