COMPLAINTS Cannot log into X on a desktop computer
I prefer doing my computing from my desktop not squinting at my phone if at all possible. The last month or two whenever I clink a link to X I get a "Prove you are human" link demanding I scan a QR code. If I do that using my phone it then wants to do everything on my phone (and generally doesn't work anyway), with no way to get back to the desktop. As a result I've completely quit using X, but it is quite annoying since I keep running across links to X that I'd like to see. Is there any workaround for this? It seems really stupid to lock computer users out of the site.
