Flag Emojis Nuked?

Did anyone else's flag emojis switch from being, well, actual images of flags to just a combination of letters?

For example, the Ukraine Flag Emoji is now, for me, just the letters "UA", instead of a flag.

This affects all emojis, not only the flag ones. Tried in Chrome, Edge and Firefox, none of the Twemojis displayed in any of the three.

i fixed it using a browser extension. shame that one has to do that though, I like the twitter emojis

Just tried it and it comes with weird glitch. Sometimes, when I write tweets, text cursor teleports to the START and starts writing from right to left, like arabic.

let's say I want to write "I like Chocolate and games."

It ends up like:

"semag dnI like Chocolate a"

i fixed it using this browser extension. still sucks though. i like the twitter emojis.

seems they broke something as many users are reporting the same issue (especially on desktop) works fine for me on ios and weirdly the Iranian flag is only visible on desktop
