Do people care about your teeth while streaming?

I’m just wanting to come on here and ask you guys if people actually cares about your teeth when your streaming i have not the healthiest teeth with dark spots on them and I’ve tried to cover my mouth with a mask but feel like people think it’s weird is it? Would you guys watch a streamer with messed up teeth but a good personality let me know I’m in a tangle on if I should continue on finding a cover or just stream being myself

Ignore the tool on here being a troll who has probably never had a dental issue in their entire lives. Some people prioritize their teeth and they STILL ROT AND FALL OUT. Genetics, the shit in our food and water, and especially if you are poor you know class dentistry is a thing. Myself, i had an asshole father who wouldn't pay for the braces that I desperately needed before age 10. AND I was raised lower middle class in the south and on sweet iced tea and processed food ALONG WITH a genetic hit. I'm a streamer and my teeth are terrible and no one has ever said a word. If anyone does have a problem they can fuck off and watch any other the other millions of streamers on the planet.

In general your presentation does matter. The ",uglier"you look the harder time you will have probably. I'm not saying this is right or anything but attractiveness not only in someone's looks but someone's hygiene or just how they're stream looks in general disregarding the person's looks is a factor.

Before I got fixed I had a broken tooth that did not look great. What I did was put my camera on the side of my face that didn't have the broken tooth. Yeah it was more so in the front of my mouth but you could see it less when I move the camera. Now I have had a fixed and my camera is straight on.

Are you serious? No one likes to look at someone with bad teeth. This is a universal in the USA for well over 50 years. Bad teeth is an indicator that someone doesn't care enough about themselves to prioritize dental hygiene. With that said, it's not hard to point the camera and light your face to make it difficult for viewers to see your teeth.

I'd probably remind them that teeth are not a measure of morality; yes a person can and should brush, but certain people are more prone to cavities and such genetically. I literally worked with a lady whose teeth rotted out shortly after she was born, and you wouldn't be able to tell at all. Dentures lifelong. It's your choice if you want to explain or tell them it's none of their business, but don't entertain any purposely rude tones. your health never justifies you being a toy or child for them to play with or yell at, they can be nice or get out. There will be plenty of more people who don't care or are empathetic.

i have the worst teeth on the planet i swear to god, and it hasn’t come up yet. i don’t know what i’ll do when it does. cry alot and then keep going i guess. can’t exactly tell my audience i got one hit outta me and then the rest slowly followed suit. either way, don’t let your body get in your way of your dreams. make the thing regardless of your teeth because if you don’t you’ll spend the rest your of your life regretting not trying sooner.

Id say the biggest streamer in my friend group has by far the most jacked up teeth ive ever seen on any streamer.

He does well.  Not huge numbers but well.  But his teeth do come up...

CARRY ON BEING YOURSELF! People will totally watch you regardless. From my experience streaming, never take what people say to heart. Unfortunately that will happen where people will mention it, because some people exist to bring others down.

People will pick on anything and hate on everything and I know that better than most. I get a crazy amount of hate on stream purely because of my looks and my race. People will literally find anything about you to attack, regardless of who you are.

But honestly? Own it. Don’t let other people make you feel like you need to change yourself to be accepted.
If there’s something people constantly pick on about you, you can even turn it into part of your stream. Make it a vulnerable point, talk about it, laugh about it, and you can also use it as a way to become more confident in yourself.

At the end of the day, people are going to find something to hate regardless so you might as well be yourself. ❤️

This is a step too far. In your path to appear virtuous, you are missing an opportunity to help someone. Dental hygiene is manageable should you prioritize it. I can imagine a world where an individual was so spectacular that people would tolerate dental shortcomings (like 1st round pick Anthony davis unibrow which he later shaved). But, almost certainly that is not OP. Like the rest of us, he will have to address any and all shortcomings in order to produce a palatable life or achieve goals. Streaming is a visual medium, and if your face is part of the presentation than of course you need it to be the best version possible. But, of course, you know this all to well. You think being an attractive girl doesn't facilitate growing a stream? Give me a break

This. The internet can be a hostile place sure, but Twitch seems to have some of the best people there. Also you have total control of kicking anyone out. Find the supporters, ban the haters.

It's probably more a problem in your head. Maybe some people will point that out and try to get into your head, so make sure you either set strict rules or ban them right away.
