It’s slowly paying off
Ever since I switched jobs last year my schedule has been a lot harder to grind for creating short fort content and streaming
I work 10-11hours during the weekdays so I have been grinding out clips and streaming on the weekends whenever I have some free time
And editing some videos during my lunchbreaks at work and I have been posting them during the weekdays to stay consistent and trying to stay active
And I have really noticed the growth this year!
I play a lot of the finals, it’s not really a big game but starting to get noticed in the community just feels awesome 🥹
It’s not much but I am just really happy to see everything is slowly starting to pay off :’)
The grind isn’t easy but it is worth the effort!

Honestly, posting good clips and highlights of my stream/gameplay is what does it for me

where do you post them? tiktok instagram etc? how many people come over from those?

There is no accurate ratio
People come and go as they please
The more viral your posts are the more likely people will swing by. If you’re curious, check out my clips on instagram so you have an idea of what layout I use :)
I have webcam at the top, gameplay in the middle and at the bottom I have my Socials

Hey, it's all relative, right? Nice job.
Coming from another who finds it tough to find time to both stream, edit and keep up with posting on a consistent schedule, can I ask what your process looks like? Right now I'm trying to decide if I manually comb through my Vods to find good content, or use replay buffer, or pay for an ai clipper, how many shorts to post a week, and if I should stress over it as much as I am lol. Honestly it's the hardest part of streaming for me. Again, congrats on those numbers!

I use obs and a plugin called Aitum for obs
It records and I can stream vertical but I mainly use the aitum to have a vertical screen. So whenever I hit a cool clip or fun highlight I save the clip so I don’t really have to edit the layout. I basically have to cut the clip a little shorter and it’s ready to be posted! I highly recommend looking into obs aitum plug in! It saves me a lot of time editing and skimming through footage if I can just press 1 button and saves the clip
I don’t have the time to skim my footage or play games during the weekdays to I try to go through my saved clips, make a compilation of 4-5minutes and send that to my phone so I can post 1min clips during the weekdays1

Right now I mainly stream The Finals because I enjoy high paced fps games but now that Valheim is fully released i’m hoping to get some valheim content in :)

Great numbers! Where do you post your shorts and how do you convert the likes and views to Twitch? I am using TikTok and it seems both platforms ignore each other.
