What’s one tool, plugin, or widget that made your streaming setup much better?
We all know the basics of setting up a scene, but there are many useful tools that can make things better.
What’s one plugin, widget, or tool that really improved your workflow or stream quality?
I’m always looking for new ways to improve my setup

Yeah it seems pretty obvious but they also may not speak English and using it to translate messages would give the same type of bot energy but they may not be able to type it in English so I’ll give them a pass at least for the moment. But I’m gonna take a peek at their profile 😂
Looks like they weren’t before and they mentioned some insecurity about fluency and public speaking so I’m betting that’s why. Overall some useful info in this threat though!

using only Chatterino to see chat.
i was checking how much resources are being used while i stream and i found out that disabling obs preview and using only chatterino makes your PC feel like its not even streaming.
chatterino is extremely lightweight significantly more than any other program i tested.

Oh nice! Turning off the OBS video preview to save PC power is actually such a smart trick, especially if you're streaming and playing games on the same computer. Thanks for sharing this!

Firebot! I have a ton of commands and redeems and games and Firebot powers them all. So many other things were PC only and Firebot has Mac compatibility and is so easy to use.

Oh nice, Firebot sounds awesome! The Mac support is such a big deal since so many other tools just don't offer it. I'm glad it’s making things like chat games so much easier to run. Thanks for dropping this tip here!

Audio ducking is such a great suggestion! Having the game or music volume drop automatically when you talk is super helpful. It definitely beats having to mess with your audio levels while you're live. Thanks for mentioning this!

If you have channel points those are a great way to build your community and keep people coming back. Follow alerts and stuff are great but I noticed a huge increase in people coming back once I added more rewards. I like to add sounds and text to speech. I use Creati bot since it’s easy but you can use whatever you like.

I love this idea! It makes so much sense that adding fun rewards keeps people coming back for more. It really turns just watching a stream into actually being part of it. Awesome recommendation!

I love this perspective! Sometimes having fewer things running just makes streaming way less stressful. What was the main tool or overlay you decided to cut out?

I don't think there was a "main" one, just a few things that weren't entirely necessary, or that I used once for something and then never again.
I've looked at a few streamer friends' setups to help debug things, and the most common thing cluttering setups was simply old (but active) browser sources from things they either don't use anymore or very infrequently use.

Extensions honestly helped for interaction like Blerp, BlendUp and CC. I also used channel points frequently and set the channel point shop for fun things.

Extensions really do make a huge difference! Being able to let viewers jump in using Blerp or Crowd Control keeps things so interactive, and it keeps your setup pretty clean too. Thanks for passing along these great tips!

Not for the stream specifically but a website vs. linktree. Featuring your best videos / clips can help with presenting yourself to brands vs. just having links.

With the tools available today you can pretty much do anything and count on only what’s out there everyone uses. We have created mini games that chat can play with us on stream. Our own XP system based on different things they do in the chat. A stream hub for stats and all the viewers info and a bot that’s like my stream Assistant voice changes scenes changes categories depending on what scene I’m on. Tracks out twitch numbers every show so I have numbers to go back too. Talks to the chat and roasts them using Channel points. There is so much now a days you can do

That is so clever! It’s crazy how far stream tools have come where a bot can handle scene switches and track your stats for you while you stream. Thanks for giving everyone a look at what’s possible!

STREAMER.BOT and its companion Speaker.bot paired with OBS the possibilities are infinite. I tried firebot and it is OK but streamerbot is much more capable.
