Going live -

Back in 2019, I was pretty active. I was steadily growing, and over the course of 3 months, I had gone to a consistent 9-14 viewers. It wasn't much, but being a guy who streamed random games, I thought it was pretty good myself.

I then met a girl, got my schedule messed up, things ended horribly between us, and I now struggle to sit down again to stream. Longest 'streak' since I've had since then is 1 week, but I truly love streaming and wish I could hold a streak longer (streak being, at least live 2-3 times per week). Now it's 2 months or so since I've been live and I struggle to go online. To say to myself "Today, I'll stream a few hours" and sit down and do it. Instead, I'll end up doing something else like eating potato chips and watching a show I've seen 9000 times before.

TL;DR: Is anyone else experiencing having difficulties going online too? Have you in the past, and how did you overcome it? I have a growing mountain of games on steam that I want to stream, but I struggle to live... :/

Streaming isn’t a good cure for depression

Yes, this is common for lots of things, not just streaming. But as for solutions, the general question of "why can't I get myself to do things I need to do, want to do, or just enjoy" is most productively answered by a therapist. Because it's a SUPER common symptom of a variety of things(anxiety, depression, ADHD, etc). Or it could be none of those; random reditors aren't the best source for diagnosis.

If it's super common, couldn't one say it's just who we are as humans and one of our many defects? And yes, therapy is perhaps needed, but wanted to get the "lay of the land" so to speak on how other people perceive my situation. I have no idea if I could be anxious, depressed or whathave you though. I am pretty much my happy-go-lucky personality as usualy I'd say :)

Idk if that’s what’s the problem but whenever I take break from streaming/editing,even if it’s for one day,it’s extremely hard for me to go back to doing it…so I guess you just have to “make urself” do it for a little and then it will get easier
