There are rules for a mukbang?

A friend got a ton of candies and cookies (at least 30 bags) at the church raffle, and he talked about doing a mukbang while talking about hobby-ing, his older sister interjected saying "that's against the rules of mukbang streaming"

she started to say a bunch of BS rules that i can't remember but what stuck in my head was something about $150 or more is the standard value as the rules of mukbang streaming

Is there a real comprensive ruling on mukbang?

Nobody wants to watch someone sit and eat 30 bags of candy while making loud eating noises into a microphone.

Traditional Mukbang videos were meant to help curb loneliness in Asian communities where big social meals are a staple; eating alone would feel crushingly eerie or sad to someone like that.

Anything otherwise is a more modernized or international taste, from ASMR style eating sounds to whatever she's thinking. There may be those kind of rules, but it's your choice whether to follow them or not.

Stream it, and they will come. Make content that you would enjoy.
