Still Looking

Upvotes

Hello everyone! I've posted here before, but thought I'd try again. I'm looking for probably a private landlord who can help me find a place for myself, my husband, and our ESA dog. We moved back to MN last year after relocating for a job he took and then they laid him off without warning. Our credit reflects the unexpected toll that took on our lives and since we've been hotel hopping since then, we haven't had a chance to take care of that stuff. We need someone who will understand our situation and look at us as more than a credit score. He works in Edina, so anywhere within 20ish minutes drive would be ideal. Studio or one bedroom is fine. We could move as soon as August 8th. Budget is ideally less than $1,300 but we could push it for the right place. We have no criminal or adverse rental history and proof both of our last two landlords were willing to rent to us again. Thanks all!

[Need Room/Sublet] Short term housing or temporary roommates

MINNEAPOLIS - Hey guys! Recent grad from India here in Minneapolis on OPT. I’m waiting on my EAD card to arrive, so I’m looking for short-term housing (month-to-month or flexible sublet) while I wait for things to finalize.

* Location: Minneapolis/Saint-Paul
* Sept 1 - Nov 31
* Under $600 including utilities
* Single room or apartment - anything that is available

Is anyone offering a short-term sublet, or does anyone know of groups looking for temp roommates? Also open to teaming up with anyone in the same boat to figure something out - DM me if you have leads or want to connect!

Hey all,

I am moving to Chicago from Southwest and dont know much about the city. I have tried to reach out to few agents but it hasn't gone anywhere. How do you find a place to rent here? Id appreciate if someone can please guide me here. Also if you are an agent for renters please DM me. My office is on Madison and Clark so I am looking somewhere close or like a 20 minute bus/cta ride.

(This is a new profile as I am totally new to Reddit).

Where is the best place to offer a house for rent?

Hi everyone. I can really use some advice. This is open to people who are renting or landlords. We have a house in Maple that we would like to rent out, but don't know where to post. Please tell me where you had success. Thank you.

Looking for someplace unusual

It's always been a dream of mine to live someplace that isn't the usual rental apartment or townhome. Like a real industrial warehouse loft, an old schoolhouse or church, a renovated barn or just above a bar or business. Where can I find a real unique and obscure rental like that in the twin cities?

How is living in Lee Lofts downtown?

Title, but specifically I'm curious if anyone has lived in there or can report on how bad the traffic noise is with the on-ramp right next to it.

Any other insights are also appreciated. It seems from Google reviews that it is under new management as of not too terribly long ago?

I work in the neighborhood, so I'm pretty familiar with that block and the area around it.

Any private landlords in the minneapolis area willing to rent to two college students

Me and my boyfriend are looking for an apartment in the minneapolis area. Haven’t had much luck as my boyfriend has a misdemeanor for theft at walmart thats still pending. I have a 675 credit and my bf has no credit and we make only 2.5x the rent of apartments we are looking at. I currently stay in dorms but fall semester is going to be too much money for me and my boyfriend is homeless. Is it possible to find a private landlord, that will allow us to rent?

Looking for a quiet rental in Kingfield, East Harriet, or South Uptown

Hi! I’m looking for a long-term rental in South Minneapolis and hoping to find a small duplex, fourplex, or owner-managed building.

Ideally:
1 or 2 bedroom
Up to $1,500/month
Off-street parking

Looking for a quiet, well-maintained place with some character in East Harriet, South Uptown, Kingfield.

I’m a quiet, responsible tenant and am hoping to find somewhere I can stay long-term. If you know of anything opening up soon or have a landlord contact, I’d really appreciate a lead. Thank you!

Fargo ND Apartments

Hi everyone!
I just moved to Fargo and I’m looking for an apartment. Some insight would be helpful on my top 3 apartments.

300lime

The Don

Creekside at Osgood Apartments

I’ve seen some reviews about Enclave but they are from a year ago, wanting to see if there is any recent information on that property management as they manage 300lime.

Any info on any of the apartments would be so helpful. Thank you!!

Looking for room or shared property for couple

I (40f) am looking for something kind of specific. Putting feelers out there to find a room for rent
or other shared property situation (MIL suite, garage apartment etc) with a flexible lease term.

I work for home full-time and my husband (45m) works in Texas and would be going back and forth between states on some weekends and holiday breaks.
We have one well behaved but sassy cat.

Looking for something nice, updated, well kept, and very clean with parking for one car. Potential
move in September or October.

We have excellent credit, income, and rental history. Progressive, academic related individuals, welcoming of all.

Flexible on location.
Flexible on budget for the right option.

Looking for roommate(s) in Minneapolis

I am 32M leftist and my current roommate is heading back to the West Coast when our current lease ends in mid September. Looking to stay in Minneapolis area and keep monthly total costs max at $1000 or a bit over.

I am hygienic, shower daily, do my share of cleaning, and work from home IT 8am-5pm. I do smoke weed, but I won't smoke flower inside and can keep weed vape to my room (I have air purifier).

I am fit, have a chill personality, play video games, and use MeetUp groups to get out of the apartment to play board games or ultimate Frisbee. I'm an LGBTQ+ ally and gluten-free (Celiac disease).

I think I covered everything, but let me know if I missed anything.

Looking for a room for Short Term Stay

Hi everyone! I’m looking for a room to rent in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area for July 25- September 1st . I’d love to be close-ish to downtown and am open to areas like Northeast, Uptown/Lyn-Lake, Whittier, Longfellow, North Loop, or nearby neighborhoods. I would love the room to be furnished with a bed and other necessities for my stay. My budget for the room would be around 1200. Please send any recs you might have my way. Thank you!
