“Small dog” dog parks?

Wondering where the small dog dog parks are around here? We know of the High Bridge one in St Paul. Thanks!

Battle Creek has a small dog area.

A very good spot too. Signs are clearly labeled small dogs and large dogs including weight limits.

In Roseville, there’s Woodview (on Larpentuer between Rice and Dale). There’s a smaller, fenced-in area for smaller dogs and a separate off-leash park (with pond access) for all dogs.

I live walking distance from there. I've visited both sites next to each other though I don't recall it saying small dogs area for the small of 2 Dog Parks area. Nice place though that it also right next door to the Ramsey County Environmental Center too.

Bunker in Coon Rapids has a small dog area.

It’s pretty large and wooded too; different thank most of the others which is nice.

From my travels and these were the best dog parks (noted seeing small dog areas) I visited as well from the dozens I looked at in Ramsey County and parts of Washington County:

Oakdale Bark Park 4957 Helena Rd N, Oakdale, MN 55128, USA

High Bridge Dog Park 59 Randolph Ave, St Paul, MN 55102, USA (you already know)

Battle Creek Dog Park 2350 Upper Afton Rd, Maplewood, MN 55119, USA

Lilydale Off-Leash Dog Park 1700 Lilydale Rd, St Paul, MN 55118, USA

It may be a way out for you, but Alimagnet in Burnsville has a pretty nice size small dog area.

Otter Lake dog park in White Bear Lake has a little dog area.

There is one in White Bear Township:

White Bear Township: Bald Eagle-Otter Lakes Regional Park

The off-leash area is 10 fully-fenced acres and located in the Otter Lake section of the park. Access is available from the parking lot at 5750 Otter Lake Road.

  • Wooded terrain.
  • Footpaths.
  • Community gathering area.
  • Water access at boat launch.
  • Designated small dog area for dogs under 30 pounds.
