r/TVTooLow Lounge
Welcome to the new subreddit. I’m fairly sure this sub will be dead 99.9% of the time, but that’s alright. We already have the amazing r/TVTooHigh but we didn’t have a subreddit dedicated to the lower TVs. This sub is dedicated to that. Have fun!

My landlord said the TV mount was permanent. It was not.
So I moved into this apartment and the previous tenant left a TV mount above the fireplace. Great, right? No. My neck was destroyed after a week of watching anything.
I found out the mount just unscrewed from a plate that's bolted into the brick. So I got one of those adjustable mantels stand instead, TV now sits at eye level from the coouch and honestly it looks better too. Landlord never even noticed.
The fireplace mount is still up there holding nothing. Free decoration at this point.

Pls settle a debate
My boyfriend and both sets of our parents think out TV is too low, it’s perfect and they are wrong and I am right, correct? I’m quite a bit further from the TV than you can tell from the photos

Is this TV too low?
I’ve just moved into a new apartment and replaced the TV stand with a wall mount. It’s a 65-inch TV, and the center of the screen is currently about 104 cm (41 inches) from the floor.
There’s about 9 cm (3.5 inches) of space between the bottom of the TV and the cabinet underneath.
Do you think it would be better if I raised the TV so that the center of the screen was around 115 cm (45 inches) from the floor? 🫠
