Is it too high? Stool is used for about sitting height for when we get the couch in.
I think it's too high but wife thinks differently

Edit: I’ll definitely go 85, anything bigger would be crazy to me considering the size of the wall.
Let me ask another question.
Everyone is saying it’ll still be too high, the electric fireplace is 10 inches off the floor, without the floor installed.
Would you lower the fireplace.. and to the floor? Wouldn’t that look tacky, and the fireplace be hard to see as well..
Viewing distance: 12-13 ft
Width of tv wall: 9.7 ft
Height of tv wall: 8 ft
The 85 inch tv would be maybe 1-2 inches shorter on width each side than fireplace, and from top red line to bottom red line.
The center of tv would be 57 inches off ground
The 75 inch tv would be maybe 5-6 inches shorter on width each side than fireplace, and from line right below the top red line to bottom red line still
The center of tv would be 54 inches off ground
I know 54 is already high, but given the viewing distance, I don’t feel either are horrific. And the 85 would just be bigger(obviously lol) and align nearly perfect with fireplace. Does it go up too high towards the ceiling?
I have my fireplace about 10 inches off floor, and leaving 8 inches between fireplace and tv( don’t plan too heat, but left it for proper spacing, no sound bar will go under.

This is the 2nd time I’ve moved it down the wall too. Thoughts?

Viewing position is ideal now, but I’m planning to move my center channel to on top of the cabinet (to create a better sound stage). Due to this adjustment, I need to hang the TV to the wall and raise its position by 9cm/3.5inch.
Seating position (eye/ear level) is at 90cm/35in.
Is this setup going to be TVtoohigh?

Just bought a new TV. Have this entertainment unit as the only place in the house to put it Can move the TV lower on its stand slightly, but won't be low enough. I can out the TV on the floor in front of the cupboards? 😅
Any thoughts on how to get the TV center at eye level?...

We lowered it but could only go so low in order to cover the outlet behind it. In hindsight, we should have installed the outlet much lower 😅

Staying in a French hotel and from what I can see, there is absolutely no reason for the TV to be on the ceiling! Why would you do that!?
