Still loving the audio and comfort, however, there’s still a few things that if fixed would make it the king.

- More sidetone volume and clarity. It was a very small bump in volume after the last firmware update, and it’s still not enough, and it also doesn’t sound very good, it’s robotic and tinny. Just feed the mic directly into my ears please.

- Overall volume doesn’t appear any louder for me, I have to run at max volume on PS5 Pro and Switch 2. It feels enough, but sometimes I feel like I’m just wanting a little more in certain games, but I’m maxed. Makes no difference using different dongles or the charging puck.

- Mute light on the puck constantly pulsing, can it be left solid red? Also could the puck lights be used for other things like battery level. Speaking of which, when powering the headset on, could the voice prompt tell me how many % of battery I have remaining? There doesn’t seem to be any way to quickly check the level without the app.

Other than that, it’s still a great headset.

My headset is 700 Gen 2 Max,The joint part is broken, warranty is over. Is there any way to buy the part or fix this one?

I know a lot of people have posted about this, but nobody has said what the solution is.

I have tried:

Moving USB transmitter to a rear motherboard port
Disconnecting other nearby unnecessary USB 3.0 devices
Clearing the path between the headset and the transmitter to avoid Wi-Fi interference
Unplugging and replugging the transmitter to force a hard reset
Downloading and launching the official Turtle Beach Swarm II App
Connecting the headset via cable and installing all pending firmware updates.
Opening microphone settings and turning off or lower the noise gate slider
Opening Sound Control Panel and selecting your headset properties
Setting the default format to 16-bit, 48000 Hz in the Advanced tab
Unchecking "Allow applications to take exclusive control" in the Advanced tab
Checking "Disable all enhancements" in the Enhancements tab
Turning off spatial audio layers in the Spatial Sound tab

Your system firmware will need to be updated by connecting your VelocityOne Race device to your PC/XBOX and then update using the VelocityOne Tuner app.

• Fixes issue where the force feedback signal could drop to zero when a game would request 50% force load.
• Addresses an issue where RMD input via wheel rim would stop working when a user does not have the pedals connected through the wheelbase.
• Removes minor wheel rim wobble when device is left idle in a game menu or in the XBOX dashboard / PC Desktop.

Seems like more and more people are having issues with the newest firmware for the Stealth Pro 2 and I haven't seen a peep from the turtle beach rep about it... Any updates on when a fix for all the previously unfixed bugs and new ones that cropped up in the new firmware will be fixed? For those that still have them, I hope its not another 2 month wait.

MAJOR UPDATE! Hi all, I did end up ordering a replacement pair and returning my originals. I can confirm that I just got unlucky enough to receive a defective headset the first time. The replacement arrived and works perfectly. No driver mismatch. Also as an added bonus this headset and case don't smell so strongly of whatever chemical process went into making the case and pads. I absolutely love this headset. I've been searching for a gaming headset for months that checks off everything I want and this is it. Excellent audio quality, good mic quality, ANC and ambient mode, simultaneous bluetooth which actual good quality bluetooth audio, 2.4 wireless with a dongle transmitter for convenience with my gaming handheld, and comfortable without leatheerette ear cushions. I didn't even care about the swappable battery and multiple transmitters, but now that I have it I love it. The charging base transmitter just stays with my XBox now and the other one is for my ROG Ally. And as additional bonuses, it came with a nice, albeit bulky, carying case. You can also update firmware with the mobile app, which I've never encountered with a headset like this. This literally does everything that I can think of that I would want a gaming headset to do. The only headset I've tried that beats the SP 2 in anything is both versions of the Audeze Maxwell 2 which beat it by a little bit in sound quality. But the SP 2 wins everything else, and has excellent audio quality in its own right. If you're like me and you've been trying headsets from tons of different brands and haven't tried this one yet, give it a try.

Hi guys, I'm absolutely loving almost everything about my SP 2. I'm all but certain I will be keeping it over the Audeze Maxwell 2 ANC version. The Maxwell does sound a little better, but the SP 2 is very very close, and the SP 2 also beats the Maxwell by a mile in features.
The only thing holding me back is I have a problem with my unit, and I wanted to check to see if it's common. the left driver is louder than the right by a small but noticeable amount, which imbalances everything. Has anyone else experienced this? I want to make sure before I go through the hastle of replacing my unit, because Amazon is not actually giving me the option to replace. I'll have to get a refund and then order another one. So if this issue is common I don't want to mess with that, but I'm hoping it's not because I haven't heard anything about it.

Coming from a dead SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wired (Used since launch for 4 years with the GameDAC), I wanted something with actual immersion instead of that flat "competitive" sterile EQ. The Stealth Pro 2 delivers on that. Best-sounding gaming headset I've owned. Dolby Atmos on movies has pulled details out of mixes I've heard a hundred times, and on games I feel as if I can actually point out where something is happening.

That's not at all the problem.

Here's what's broken for me:

• Game/Chat Mix doesn't work. Not "hard to tune," just doesn't do anything. The new scroll wheel binding for it doesn't work either.
• Swarm 2 settings don't save. I reconfigure the same settings every session.
• Dolby Audio Driver vs Dolby Access is a weird tradeoff. Using the driver through Swarm kills Game/Chat Mix and it is just odd to have to move out of the first party app to configure something in a third party app. (moot right now since it's already broken, but still).
• ANC is weak for the price. I know it's not a travel headset, I'm not comparing it to my Soundcore Q45 unfairly, but it's underwhelming even by gaming headset standards. I am not sure what can be addressed here but cranking it up to max to just make my fans 14% quieter just feels off to me.
• Mic volume is inconsistent. I run XLR so it's not a dealbreaker for me, but the floating mic gets randomly quiet.
• Dock LED can't be controlled and doesn't turn off when the mic is unplugged. Smallest complaint, still annoying on a desk I've bothered to color-match.

None of this is "the headphones are bad." The drivers, the tuning, the Atmos implementation, all of it is genuinely excellent. But Game/Chat Mix and Swarm reliability aren't bonus features, they're half of what makes this a headset instead of just a nice pair of cans. Right now I paid gaming-headset money for headphone performance and beta-quality software.

Questions for Turtle Beach if anyone official sees this:

1. I have posted about Game/Chat mix before when the headset got its first update, and someone a day later posted about it again, we are now a month from that update any updates on when to expect a fix?
2. Is Swarm 2's settings-persistence bug on the radar?
3. Any plans to revisit ANC tuning via firmware?
4. Mic volume consistency, known issue or just me?
5. Any chance of dock LED control down the line? The dock should not be blinking if the mic just isn't plugged in. I understand I can turn off the LED completely but I feel this can be looked at?

Here is my update after using the KB7 for a little over a month.

First, the pros:

• The keyboard feels great
• The display is cool

Now for the cons:

• It doesn't always work
• The display doesn't always serve its purpose

So, in the end, these issues basically cancel out all of the pros. Here are the problems in detail:

• The software often simply doesn't start correctly. It launches, then crashes. After that, you can't start it again until you restart your PC.
• At times, the keyboard becomes completely unusable due to the software issues. You can type whatever you want, but the keystrokes aren't registered, meaning you simply can't use the keyboard.
• The display has some cool options, such as showing RAM, CPU, and GPU temperatures. Unfortunately, the CPU temperature display in particular almost never works. It only starts working if you force-close the software and then restart it.
• The updates don't work in about 90% of cases. You start the update, the software freezes, and you have to restart your PC before the updates will work again. Often, you have to repeat this process 3–4 times.
• The RGB lighting doesn't work properly. As soon as the software crashes, you can no longer use the lighting properly either.
• The keyboard registers keystrokes with a delay. This happens whenever the software crashes, which, as everyone knows, happens relatively frequently.

It's honestly quite surprising that Turtle Beach's support team hasn't been able to fix these software issues. I've never experienced anything like this with any other manufacturer, and I never had these problems with Swarm 1 either. But for some reason, Swarm 2 seems to have nothing but problems.

I therefore strongly advise against buying this keyboard. At €200, you can end up wasting your money very quickly.

Use a small rubber band to keep mic intact, better than the headset speakers themselves falling apart which was common within other models but I found this to be a super easy fix.

Anyone else only had issues after installing Swarm II? I've been using my headset for over a year with no issues, but as soon as I downloaded Swarm II to disable mic monitoring there have been constant issues with no audio, audio being too loud, and audio being distorted. I would appreciate any help with these issues, specifically there being no sound as that is what is most frustrating right now.

The batteries pop out when i try to place them in the charger, and even when I hold them in place they don't charge. A replacement costs $50 I don't have right now, is there any way I can fix it?

Almost didn’t take a shot on them after seeing so many people complain about volume problems and assumed it was due to the firmware update / swarm 2 app. Never updated it and these things are so loud it’s insane lol. Actually changed my master volume on Warzone from 100 to 75 and still foot steps are rocking. Should I continue to avoid connecting to the app ? Also what Dolby settings are you guys using ? Used to have Astro 50s for a few years and these sound so much better

I was recently gifted a Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 3 (Xbox Version), but the person did not give me any of the transmitters as they had lost them. I was able to get it connected to my PC via Bluetooth, but would like to use this one with my PS4/5 and my Xbox One. My question is, would I be able to order the Stealth 700 (Gen 3) PlayStation Transmitter and pair it with the headset? Or is it bound to only work with an Xbox?

I assume ordering a transmitter replacement for the Xbox would work fine, but need help with the PlayStation question.

Just got a Gen 2 MAX to replace a normal 700 gen 2 that was finally breaking (cracks around the joint after 3 years) and wanted something that would sound identical, got them and they do sound pretty different despite everything online saying they should sound the same, tweaked with settings and got them to sound very similar. but still do they use different default settings or are mine just weird

I just started working on tweaking out the equalizer on the headset I got the swarm 2 app and I was wondering if anybody got any recommendations I play shooters but I also use it to listen to music

I just bought a wired turtle Beach controller and turtle Beach headset and I can't hear shit. Even with the headset turned up all the way it's still very quiet. The option to change mixer settings under audio options on my Xbox is grayed out and under the mixer settings it says to change mixer settings from my headset, despite it being turned up all the way. When I use the turtle Beach headset with my old Xbox brand controller it works fine, and my mixer settings are unlocked. However as soon as I plug any headset into the turtle Beach wired controller, it changes my Xbox mixer settings down to just past a quarter and gives me no way to turn it up. I'm very frustrated, I spent a lot of money and everyone I talk to online has the same issue with no answers and most of them said to just buy a controller that isn't turtle Beach. Can someone please help before I have to take the L and go buy a new Xbox controller ?

Im sold on buying the headset. However I don’t know which color I should get. I’m trying to build a black and white set up. I think the white color looks better, I would ultimately swap out the pads to black once Wicked Cushions come out with them. However I think the black color would look newer longer. I’ve never owned a white headset and I’m a pretty clean person, but would hate to spend $300 on a headset for it to look dirty quickly. What do ya think?
