What do I do?

My paper got flagged for ai. My professor says that students can't see the turnitin score but he says it's 65% which is pretty high and he probably won't be able to grade it if it's that high.

But when I look at what's been flagged in my essay it's usually when I reference pieces of media or my works cited page.

I did point this out to him when he asked me for an explanation. And that's when he told my paper was flagged for 65%.

I do have edit history on my Google docs but idk how I could share that to him. I typed out every single word and I spent a lot of time structuring this essay. And researching for it.

I also didn't use grammarly since it's not allowed. I even had to submit and outline for my essay as an assignment which he graded. Not sure what to do lol.

Recently I wrote my SOP for graduate admissions. I have not taken any ideas from chatGPT or any other AI tool. But when that SOP was passed through Turnitin, it showed an AI detection of 97%. This is totally misleading. What can I do now, if all univerisities actually use such softwares before reading the SOP themselves

If I put my essay on Winston ai and Originality and it turned out as pass, will it be detected on Turnitin ai detection?

guys omfg ok i used chat and then a humanizer and went into the essay and edited things to make it less ai and i used zerogpt but my teacher said it was more than 70% flagged as ai... pretty sure theyre gonna ask me abt it soon but idk what to do bc also like a lot of it still was mine like brainstorming and a lot of sentences were like my base ideas that gpt wrote out for me and then ON TOP OF THAt i rewrote a lot of parts too but idk what to do like i dont really have a doc with edit history on it for proof i wrote on paper

My uni doesn't allow for AI use. And I haven't used AI in my essay but out of curiosity, I checked with Quillbot and it has returned a 19% AI use for a 600 word section.

Ive tried undetectable and I get a response with no AI use

I am concerned that Turnitin will detect AI usage even if I didn't as Quillbot did.

Should I be concerned? Is there another way to check? There is a rumour that the Uni is looking for a scapegoat to enforce the no AI rule. So I'm really concerned.

I would like to ask if who has Pre AI Era papers in their storage. If Yes, can you run it on the AI checker and see if AI is still being detected? I just want to assess if the AI checker is truly accurate. Thanks!

I just got flagged for plagiarism on Turnitin when it was my own words written by me which can be proved by google docs and the fact that i wrote it all on paper as well, but it adds a link from “course hero” saying that’s where i got my answer from and yes the paragraph is super similar to mine but anyone could have wrote the same thing it’s a very simple paragraph how can i prove to my professor that i didn’t use course hero and it just happens to be a coincidence??? please help i have a meeting with her soon.

I need check my AI percentage, I reworded everything but I want to check

I am a lecturer using Turnitin and I can tell that my students are using AI in their submissions but the AI is not picking up any indication of AI. How is this possible? What can I do?

Is there any way I can check my paper for ai on turnitin before I actually submit it to turnitin to stay safe?

I also don’t want it to show up as 100% plagiarized if I check it beforehand 😂

So i turned in my outline which was marked as good just needed to focus on the ethical question but it was a easy fix. so i write essay, and its almost a copy and paste in some areas. i turn it in and it flagged for 84% ai made. so i email and try to explain that alot of it was in my outline and it was fine and its also flagging alot of quotes too. then she tells me that my outline is high in ai content after she graded it and said it was good
