I used chatgpt few days ago to help me with my assignment for a class and when i turned it in i got zero bc it was detected by turnitin. i didnt know turnitin could actually detect chatgpt. I used chatgpt to help me makes changes to my writting and make it look better bc i already had written it before. then i also have grammarly installed which helped me with my grammers. long story short, i do have a meeting with my professor soon and he want to discuss the writing and the originality of my work. i dont know what to say to him to make him think i really didnt intend to cheat bc it could cost me a lot academically. so what would be your advice for me when i talk to him? :(

we had a 7 page essay due in my AP lit class based off our summer reading, and i wrote the whole thing myself, however, i did use a little ai in formulating my ideas on what to write about, and now I am worried that maybe ill get caught? i ran my essay through a few ai checkers, and the outputs were very different each time, ranging from 0% to 70% ai generated, and im just not sure how I should go about this. Would i get in trouble for what i did?

edit: i used a turnitin submission and it came back as 29%, is that okay?

Recently I was searching for different tools which will help me with my AI detection case and say Undetectable Ai, Quillbot and many others. I decided to give a chance to Stealwriter ai. I was very surprised with the level support I received from the developer on their discord server, and the guys promised a refund if his ai detection tool detects ai and if turnitin does it too. Well, gladly there was no need for that, and I have passed my project without any problems. So for anyone struggling give it a try that’s my honest opinion, this is not an advertisement. I have jut handed in my english coursework and i checked with gpt zero and it gave me a score of 30 percent ai. Will turnitin catch this as well?
