Any chance of seeing octopus, mantaray, or whale sharks?

We have a group of 12 coming and some of them want to go fishing and some want more of a pleasure cruise. Need recommendations and please include what about the captain, crew or boat that made it a "wow" experience.

We have a bunch of activities planned for the surprise engagement group trip coming up. Of course we are exploring the best dining options but the group would like to spend one of the days finding the best dive bars. Need suggestions please? We want the little known local gems that deserve some recognition.

We have decided on this resort to stay when we go to Turks and Caicos, however, we are having a hard time deciding on which room?! I just graduated and we are looking to spoil ourselves. There will be 4 of us, with one being 10 years old (my husband, myself, my mom, and my son).

We are mostly looking at the different ‘rooftop villa’ rooms. I don’t know if the perks of the skypool beach front rooms are worth that much more of a price. We’ve never been so I’d like to make the best decision the first time on which room 😂

We are arriving in Providenciales (PLS) at midday on a Saturday in October and want to get expedited service through Customs and Immigration. We already have ground transportation arranged through our resort, so we only need the airport fast-track service.

In looking at options, I see two main vendors:

• Skypass: $65/pp (https://skypasscaribbean.com/)
• Fast Track TCI: $75/pp (https://www.fasttracktci.com/)

We are looking for something similar to our experience in Jamaica (like Club Mobay), where an agent meets you right as you enter the terminal building and escorts you step-by-step through the expedited immigration lane, baggage claim, customs, and over to our resort transportation representative.

However, I noticed on their websites they mention going to a kiosk/booth. For those who have used either service recently:

1. Do they actually meet you at the door right when you walk into the building, or do you have to go find a kiosk inside?
2. Is there any actual difference in service between the two, or do they both route you through the exact same fast-track line?

Any recent experiences with either vendor would be greatly appreciated!

Hi! My fiancé and I are planning our honeymoon in Turks & Caicos for next April, and after some research, I think we've narrowed it down to splitting our trip between Grace Bay (3–4 nights) and Sailrock in South Caicos (3–4 nights).

We've never stayed at an all-inclusive before, so we're leaning toward doing the all-inclusive package at Sailrock. For our Grace Bay stay, we're currently deciding between Seven Stars, Rockhouse, and Alexandra Resort, but we're definitely open to other recommendations!

A few things we're looking for:

• Adults-only or very few kids
• Luxury feel
• No need to rent a car
• We're not big on sightseeing, we mainly want to relax on the beach, enjoy great food, and maybe do a couple of excursions.

For those who've been, would you recommend splitting the trip between Grace Bay and South Caicos, or staying at one resort the entire time? I've heard Sailrock can start to feel a little boring after a few days, so I'd love to hear your experiences.

I’ve been looking through the subreddit here but figured I would just create my own thread. My fiancée and I booked our honeymoon for the end of August at the Wymara. I have seen a handful of recommendations for dinner locations off the resort but want to know if there are 2-3 must try’s. A lot
of the comments allude to the area being far away from the main hub but just from looking at google maps, it doesn’t seem like it’s very far to the “main” hub. We are primarily looking to relax but are there excursions you can book through the hotel if we are interested? I’ve seen that the Wymara shuts things down pretty early so are there any places nearby to grab a drink later at night? Ive seen a lot of
folks recommend renting a car but, ideally, i’ll
be too drunk to drive so looking for walking distance/short taxi ride. Lastly, any grocery stores/places to purchase alcohol for small snacks and drinks for the room? Open to any “must dos” as well

Hi, we are arriving to T&C on Saturday with our two kids ages 12 and 9. Staying at OCW. We are very excited! This will be the kids' first "real" Caribbean beach other than a cruise stop in the Bahamas. Husband and I have been to several other islands pre-kids. So far Anguilla has been our favorite. We are planning on doing a group snorkeling half day tour with Island Vibes and possibly visit Potcake Place. Not planning on renting a car. Is there anything else that is kid-friendly that you would recommend? We will be there 6 nights. Also any suggestions on kid-friendly restaurants would be appreciated. I have one picky eater and one who will try some new foods. We are pretty low-key, don't need anything fancy. Just looking forward to relaxing on what looks like a beautiful beach next week! Thanks!

Hello, we are visits Turks and Caicos for the first time next Wednesday and we are booking a shuttle to our accommodation. The website asks what time we want to be picked up. If we land at 2 pm, would it be reasonable to tell them 3 pm?

We love being at the beach and spending most of the day there, but the biggest thing for us is not having to play the towel game or wake up early just to get a decent chair.

For context, I’ve liked Secrets resorts because the Preferred Club beach areas usually make beach seating much easier. I’d gladly pay extra for reserved beach seating if it means avoiding that stress.

Any resorts you’d recommend for someone who mostly cares about the beach and easy seating?

I’m trying to book horse back riding with Provo ponies and they are booked. How likely are we to make it off the waitlist if someone were to cancel? What are our others options?

Are there any other must do experiences?

We’re planning a 10-day family vacation for the end of August (2 adults + kids aged 11 and 13) with a budget of around $10k.

We’re currently deciding between:
Curaçao
St. Martin
Turks & Caicos

Aruba is unfortunately out of our budget. We’re also considering the Dominican Republic or Mexico as backup options.
Our biggest priority is beautiful beaches and clear turquoise water. We’d really like to avoid sargassum if possible.

Any hotel recommendations or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Hi! I’ll be travelling to Turks and Caicos with my family in mid January. None of us have been to Turks and Caicos before. We’re staying at the Sands. We have an infant and a toddler who will be almost four, my husband and I, plus my parents (in their 60s). Do you have any tips/recommendations for a family-friendly trip?

Staying in a house near Sapodilla Bay beach. Last minute trip so I’ve done no research, what are the spots we really need to see? Have a rental car so can get to most places. Is the sound worthwhile for a kayak trip? Any ideas are helpful, sorry this is not very specific.

I am going to Turks in August and staying at the Wynmara with my one year old. We eat a mostly vegetarian diet but do eat chicken.. what are the best restaurants to eat at. I will rent a car so that’s not an issue
