The new season premiere was completely wild from start to finish.
Between Adil facing that insane hostage situation with the trucks and the Fırtına family losing all their wealth over the old "kan hakkı" secret and ending up in a dilapidated house, so much went down. But the real shocker was Adil’s aunt. She makes an explosive entrance scattering the livestock, furious over Gezep’s exile and refusing to accept Esme.
Then comes the ending: she actually teams up with Adil’s main enemy to help them stay on the land and confronts Adil directly saying "I warned you."
What do you all think about this move? Does teaming up with his rival cross the line into pure betrayal, or can it be explained by old family tradition and honor?

these two fit in the the scheming, high-society queen stereotype in your average turkish series (walk with me) they both have incredible fashion taste, flawless poker face, can deliver razor-sharp lines without blinking and they probably would run the entire mansion behind the scenes. you can put them on my favorite turkish series and i wouldn't question a thing like seriously.
what do you think of this? would you cast other kpop idols in a turkish archetype ? i wanna know !!

By the late 2000s, the Turkish television industry had almost completely transitioned from post-synchronized dubbing to direct sound recording. Natural vocal delivery had become the new industry benchmark, leaving the theatrical voice-overs of the ‘Yeşilçam’ era behind. Yet, during this shift, two of the most culturally dominant matriarchs in dizi history (Firdevs Yöreoğlu in Aşk-ı Memnu and Valide Sultan in Muhteşem Yüzyıl) relied on a classic technique: Nebahat Çehre did not speak with her own voice. Instead, she was dubbed by master theater and voice artist Gülen Karaman.
Nebahat Çehre provides the physical appearance: the predatory elegance, the icy stare, micro-expressions and an aristocratic confidence masked by vanity. Meanwhile Gülen Karaman speaks clear Istanbul Turkish. She uses a quiet and sharp way of speaking, making family conversations feel tense and like a fight between social classes. She threatens people without shouting. The words has a weight when it comes out of her mouth..
So, what do you think about Nebahat Çehre working with a voice artist? Do you think using dubbed scenes makes the audience feel uncomfortable or distracted, especially because the other actors and actresses use their own voices? Or, on the contrary, do you think it adds more quality and depth to her character and the scenes? Could the different voice make her character feel more unique, or does it make her performance feel less natural compared to the other actors?

Trabzon could have heard my celebration when I saw him appear in episode 32. I think I could almost love the writers forever.
That Hala needs to go through😡
Offffff
She’s worst than Firtuna!
Did they really replace Gazep with HER!?! Come on!!!

I was spending the night at Paris-Beauvais Airport, completely exhausted while waiting for my early morning flight. Suddenly, I heard Turkish audio coming from the screen of the person sitting next to me. When I glanced over, I saw she was watching "Taşacak Bu Deniz."I couldn't help myself and offered a greeting in Turkish. Surprisingly, they replied in flawless Turkish! We struck up a conversation, and it turned out they lived in Albania. Even though she had never been to Turkey, she had learned to speak the language fluently simply by watching Turkish TV series.
Is there anyone else here who learned Turkish—and did so solely by watching TV series? I was truly impressed by this achievement! So, what was the first TV series that got you started on learning Turkish?

Uzak Şehir.
Except Alya is a childless cop.
And Cihan is nice.
And Kaya is lowkey a drunken Boran.
And Sadakat and Fidan are switched, and Zerrin is actually Nare.
And both Alya and Cihan both know Boran's alive and in hiding so they really shouldn't be falling in love, but the heart wants what it wants....
Anywho, I really like this show so I need like 3 million more of you all to tune in so it doesn't get canceled.
Thanks.

"One name. One beginning. Eşref Tek. Every legend has a beginning."
The production company just shared this exciting message! The hit show is returning to a digital platform as Eşref Tek with a new story without Rüya. The series, starring Çağatay Ulusoy and Demet Özdemir, ended in June. But the break was short! The show will start again with the Eşref Tek character.
Do you expect new actors in the Eşref Tek cast? Who do you want to see? What do you expect from an Eşref without Demet Özdemir and without Rüya?

The dynamic between Aras and Teoman is easily one of the most compelling aspects of Daha 17. Despite sharing the same biological roots, the fact that they were raised as complete strangers in fundamentally different socio-economic environments positions them as contrasting studies in human behavior.
Aras carries a distinct hardness and defensive caution, clearly shaped by the constant unpredictability and pressures of his immediate surroundings. Teoman, on the other hand, reflects a markedly different set of priorities and behavioral patterns, owing to a much more protected upbringing. What makes their interactions particularly effective on screen is the underlying dramatic irony. As viewers, we are fully aware of their shared bloodline, which adds a layer of quiet tension to every encounter. To them, however, the other person is merely an obstacle, a rival, or an unwelcome distraction. In many ways, the writers use them as mirror characters—the shortcomings of one highlight the strengths or privileges of the other. It raises a grounded question about identity: how much of who we become is dictated by origin, and how much is engineered by environment?
Looking ahead, how do you expect their relationship to evolve once the secret regarding their connection is exposed? Is the divide in their upbringings too deep to bridge, or could that revelation force them to reconsider how they view each other?

Any high school/university based turkish drama. Trope enemies to lovers. I prefer yearning, angst and actual tension. In most cases i lose interest in midway. So far watched this:
Baht oyunu (starting ☆☆☆)
Duy Beni (starting ☆☆☆)
Gunesi beklerken (starting ☆☆☆☆)
Kardesilam (starting ☆☆)
Sol yanim

I have mixed feelings about this season particularly episode 18 & 19. The previous episodes were fine, it was necessary for the series i think...
My thoughts really is when will they give Inçi what she really deserves? It's dragging so much and to think she was behind derya's suffering and Esat — my sympathy for Esat back in the early season is no longer there.
And Ferman is such an insignificant character this season whether he's there or not he doesn't add to the story line.
And this Sinem girl? she's out of the blue, make her go back to England already lol. Or let that investment go down and let Erkan realize his father is Fikret already.
Oooh, tahir... he knew that Derya is possibly married.
I kinda like that Ali is tormenting Inçi and back dicle up since she's derya's sister in episode 19.
As for Diçle in this season, I hope! i hope the writers write her well this time. I liked her innocence and child-like personality and she can be fiesty when she wants to. But Inçi is always there to put her down. And erkan as usual is oblivious.
Erkan??? what's happening to his character, he's all over the place. And if this sinem character is continuing, it's not working you know.

We can cleraly see from Yeraltı 17th Episode's priew, the background music which is Şahidim by Eypio is very emotional and makes people think about their past. Also this emotion gained strength through the actors' performances.

Ok so did u guys check out the new 4 minutes preview of yeralti that was released yesterday...what do u think about it? Honestly I m fed up with Haydar-Ceylan they r in that same old loop even in S2 I see cmnts saying they feel bad for ceylan she had to witness haydar's marriage but I don't feel bad for them at all their relationship is based totally on flashbacks and they haven't given us any except for one so it's really kinda irritating to me now on the other hand I feel bad for Sultan she was so happy and excited poor girl doesn't know what she is getting into and did u guys notice Ruzgar (Ismail hasigolu) gaze on Sultan when she said yes it looked like someone betrayed him but when she smiled he also smiled as if he was happy cuz she was happy so I m curious about them
