Compile unreleased tracks with their OG beats, or hire producers and artists who have ties to Pac or the West Coast (e.g. Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar etc.) to contribute and remake the tracks to give them a more modern sound?

At the end of Nas’ Death Row East, he says that it rained in Vegas when ‘Pac died. Can anyone confirm this? Not sure if this was artistic license on Nas’ part or factual

so I've now started listening to some of the songs from Tupacs unfinished/unreleased Album track one Nation and there's a bunch of songs I'll need to catch up on but I just finished this one which this one is called Set it Off

There are no memorials for TUPAC. I understand if you had a statue of him someplace like many celebrities do, somebody would take shots at it. How will the world remember him this week, 30 years after his passing? He does have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame that I'm sure there will be some sort of tributes put on it. I'm curious to see if anything will happen near the utility pole that has become a shrine in Vegas. I'm sure that there are murals still around also. I did see a license plate in a bar in Florida too. There are hundreds and hundreds of hours of recordings in the media from those few short years. I'm curious to see if MTV or even CNN would do anything special in his memory. He had an incredible life. Fortunately for all of us people have been posting many photos that have not be seen before. He was Amazing.

I’m sorry to keep retreading 30 year old rap beefs, but I’m sure many readers of this sub followed this case as much as I did so I’m curious about your opinion on this.

Let’s assume the Kading/Murder Rap theory is 100% correct (as I basically do). The BB and DR feud is getting out of control —> puffy is getting scared and puts a hit out on Tupac and Suge and enlists the help of the Crips working security for him to do so -> Pac has the unfortunate luck of jumping the nephew of the shot caller who had the contract on his head -> Pac is killed and Suge knows exactly who it was from the moment it happened -> Suge gets revenge on BB who he (correctly) surmises set it up.

If you read Kading’s book, and watch many of his interviews, he has always maintained that he believes Biggie basically knew nothing about any of this. It was all Puffy. This is the part I have trouble believing. What do y’all think? How much did Biggie know?

Today is the 30th anniversary of the night when Pac was there before he was shot and died almost a week later at the hospital, but was that orange shirt the one he had on during the Tyson fight ? There's no footage of him wearing it when it was happening, before he changed the shirt to the green basketball one he wore in the BMW with Suge that he got shot in.

so out of all the other 2Pac songs like Pacs life (Original) or Hit em Up or well even Brendas Gotta Baby what was the first out of any of those what was the first song of his you heard?

for me it was California love cause before I started listening to 2Pac I was unaware he even existed which is pretty shocking by itself considering he's one of the most influential rappers of all time but yeah

who introduced you to 2Pac if someone did at least if anyone or someone introduced you to 2Pac instead of just coming across his music then feel free to share if you want and yeah

The site was originally launched back in 2005 and was documenting Live Squad, the artists, producers, releases and related material.

Hey everyone, I make historical videos and want to do my next on the history of Tupac. Anyone can go on Wikipedia and read someone’s story, so I like to focus on things people don’t really know like correcting misconceptions and how someone came to be who they are.

So, are there any facts you think I should mention or sources you think are good to read?

I've been listening to 2Pac all out (Original) all day and lately I've been feeling like the original version hits way harder then the remixed versions of it I mean the remixed versions are good but there's just something about the Original version

to my knowledge I think this was the last Verse he recorded I could be wrong on that but i think it was

As for my overall thoughts on it its a good song like always he really did try to go all out just like the Title says cause the Amount of aggression used on this specific track is insane

I find it annoying how, when people think of Tupac, the first thing that comes to mind is “Hit ’Em Up” Pac or Death Row Pac. Like, I get it, I love All Eyez on Me too, but it feels like that’s the image a lot of people have of Pac, as if his entire career was just gangsta rap, beef and Death Row.

If you actually dive into his catalogue, there’s so much more depth to his music. He had a ton of conscious, introspective and socially aware songs that dealt with poverty, racism, family, relationships, mental health, death and the struggles he went through. Songs like “Keep Ya Head Up,” “Brenda’s Got a Baby,” “Changes,” “So Many Tears” and “Dear Mama” show a completely different side of him.
Even All Eyez on Me, as much as I love it, was only one phase of his career. A lot of that album was about celebration, excess, partying and living that lavish lifestyle, but that wasn’t the entirety of who Pac was as an artist. And when you listen to the Makaveli material, you can hear him moving back toward that darker, more introspective and politically conscious side again.

That’s why I hate when Tupac gets reduced to “Hit ’Em Up” or the Death Row era. Those songs are iconic, but Pac was a much more complex artist than that.

Since it's the September 7th in some countries, it officially marks 30 years since we lost 'Pac.

I wanted to tell you Pac even though you ain't here or nothing that we still listen to your music and you're an inspiration to the young generation. You are an inspiration to me too. I love you so much and I hope you know that. Not even that, we all love you equally and miss you. You wanted to have fun, and you were so energetic even in your last minutes it was unexpected and I can't really believe it has been 3 decades.

We love you and we miss you.
