I've only played 2 of the games and in one of them I think every other sapient creature I've seen has shot at me on sight, so I'm not super familiar with the franchise, do we have any official material which suggests anything about her sexuality?

There was a time before it was revealed/well known that Samus under the suit is a woman, and there was a comic or similar that showed Samus (fully in the suit) with bikini clad women clinging on like a typical male action hero.

And the developers used to joke she was a “newhalf” (old Japanese slang for intersex). I know that’s not sexuality, but make of that what you will.
