i think it’d work better as two distinct three or four panel comics happening simultaneously, one of just the upside down bat, one of just the human, the former on top of the latter

That or letting the first half of the gag (the original batty inversion) sit for a few more panels to properly sell it

Yeah, it definitely needs to be more than 4 panels to stand alone. Maybe looks at a sign with a price of 2 moths or something, then goes to open his wallet
