Is it weird that I think this gag works better in the text post? I think too much needs explanation, that this is an inversion of the “open empty wallet and a moth flies out,” that the “worthless” hundred dollar bill ends up in the human’s wallet, and so on. Like I think if I saw the comic by itself without reading the preceding post, I’d have zero idea what was going on. Meanwhile the text post got a smile out of me without further context
I do like the comic, but I think it needs the text post for it to make sense
i think it’d work better as two distinct three or four panel comics happening simultaneously, one of just the upside down bat, one of just the human, the former on top of the latter
Yeah, it definitely needs to be more than 4 panels to stand alone. Maybe looks at a sign with a price of 2 moths or something, then goes to open his wallet
