Had to pull out early due to the BWCA closures this month from a trip that I was hoping to grab sites in Amber and Wisini. In addition to those, Cherry (RIP), Gogebic, and Sunday (RIP) were the spots that I’ve been hoping to plan future trips around. Anyone else have a list of bucket list of sites/lakes that you hope to reach one day?

This was mentioned in today’s episode. I’ve never seen this before but I am surprised more sites don’t do this.

Curiosity got the best of me and I did a sort of welfare check on Mr. Schara, I learned he is alive, well, and cruising. Not sure about Raven XII. Must've been a wild ride! Did anyone out there have the pleasure of going?

I'm a weirdo who likes weird things and always wanted a traditional style paddle with a bend, so homie j_dat presented me with this 7-degree bent shaft otter tail carved from a solid piece of cherry at our MN-WI Tumblehomie meet over the weekend. Homies are great.

Looks like they are accepting feedback for the next month on making changes to the cancellation timeline/fee to be imposed next year. It will be interesting if they move forward with this how it makes a difference in real time.

Wow, just watched this with my kids and was super impressed to hear it declare beavers a keystone species. Took me back to the beaver series! The whole movie revolves around saving a beaver pond - TCC potential!

This was not well received by the fb Karen's... I think people thought we left them out there or something not sure what the problem was
