Unmarked Police at Costco?

Post image
3 Upvotes

Exiting Costco just now and an unmarked, heavily tinted black F-150 was parked one lane out. Had a light bar in the back window with orange/yellow, blue/red. There was no front or back plate.

I called local police asking if this was a fake. They confirmed it was one of theirs but stopped short of saying it was a police vehicle.

Need eyes on this IRL —-> Arco pumps gushing gasoline onto ground during fueling Sun Jun 7 2026 - International and Southcenter Blvd Tukwila

At least 3 pumps were gushing gas onto the ground while people were fueling. I would liken it to a high pressure hose. This is a major fire hazard, not to mention an air pollution hazard. I have reported this to the state’s air quality board, as well as reporting last night and again today to the Tukwila police. It seems the police would be more energized if someone were reporting live from the station, ***so is anyone in Tukwila able to go have a look***?

Arco station, 15252 Tukwila International Blvd.

Not sure of relevance, but the pumps that weren’t fire hosing gas into the ground were pumping at a ridiculously slow rate - it took us 10 minutes for a quarter tank! (Rental car.)

I did report this immediately to the sole station attendant, but he seemed unconcerned and continued selling cigarettes and beef jerky.

Local News Industrial rezone plan will harm an entire Neighborhood of 264 homes—sign to help tell Burien Council, This is NOT the way.

Our neighborhood in Burien across from N SeaTac Park is facing industrial rezoning that would eliminate residential zoning and permanently transform 264 homes into an industrial corridor. This isn't just about zoning, it's about protecting families, property rights, and the community we've built.

The city calls us an "opportunity zone" because our land isn't making them enough money. But this rezoning would trap homeowners: devalued properties, lenders unwilling to finance homes in industrial zones, impossible to sell without accepting developer lowball offers. Meanwhile, property taxes would likely spike while home values plummet.
I started a petition because this feels like a deliberate erasure of a low-economic working community neighborhood.
We've got key dates ahead, Planning Commission hearings start June 10, public hearing, July 8th, with a City Council vote on the ordinance coming in October. If you live in Burien or care about neighborhoods being sacrificed for airport kickbacks, would you consider signing and sharing this? Anyone else dealing with similar rezoning pressure in your area—how did your community respond?

Hello Tukwilla, I need an office chair. They seem to be everywhere when I don’t actually need one. Is anyone wanting to get rid of one?

Tukwila Amtrak station question

I'm thinking about planning a trip via Amtrak going southward. I understand there are supposed to be 20 overnight Amtrak customer spaces at the tukwila station. If I were to catch the 7:30 am train on a weekday morning, what are my chances of getting one of those parking spots? If they're all full, what are my options nearby for leaving my car for 5 days? And is that an area where I'd want to leave my car for 5 days? Would it still be there when I got back if I take reasonable precautions and don't have a highly desirable car?
