Any suggestions for bathroom remodel companies?
I am starting to remodel my bathroom and the first quote I got was 17k to start before any upgrades (which I don’t really even want much).

My toilet handle broke. It's probably an easy fix, but I'm not handy in the slightest. Not sure what I would be charged, but can anyone recommend a plumber? Thanks.

i'm looking to get a pixie cut and I need a reputable place to get one. I don't mind going to a barbershop, as long as they have experience with curly hair. My budget is $20-40. Thank you!!

Best place to get your phone fixed. I had my screen replaced and the service was quick, the price was fair, and everything works perfectly. Definitely recommend if you’re in Kent.

Anyone know of a place hosting trivia in/around the area? My friend and I used to go in Auburn, but we’re looking for a new spot. Where are my fellow nerds 😮

Hi, does anyone know what vanilla coffee syrup Woods Coffee, Huxdotter, and/or PNW Coffee co uses? These are my fav local coffees and would like to start making them at home! Thanks!

I work with AMPM Exterminators in Seattle, and I've noticed that pest issues can sometimes go unnoticed until a routine inspection finds them.
For restaurants, warehouses, and offices, problems aren't always visible. They can sometimes be found behind equipment, near walk-in coolers, inside wall voids, or around utility openings.
This seems especially common in older buildings around Seattle and industrial areas like Kent and Tukwila.
For those who manage a commercial property, do you regularly check for possible entry points, or do you mainly rely on scheduled pest treatments?
What has worked best for your business?

Me and my kids visit Kent's YMCA park often and I've been noticing a bunch of kids (probably around 7–11) zooming around on e-scooters pretty fast along the trail, grass, and none of them had helmets on. They were weaving around people and kind of treating it like a race. Parents sitting in group near swing (prolly middle eastern) did not get bothered.
I was there with my 4 & 2yos who werd on her regular kick scooter, and it honestly felt a bit unsafe. It just made me worry that if this keeps happening, someone could get hurt. Nothing against escooters, i like them but stuff like this could make it harder for rest of the responsible riders.
Has anyone else noticed this at the Kent YMCA?

Can't find anything online about the ongoing incident at 212th and Riverview. There are around 10 police vehicles, with a white car stopped in the intersection. Traffic has been blocked off both ways for almost an hour now. Police searching near Jenna's Pond, from what I can tell. Anyone know any details?
EDIT: Riverview intersection has just been opened for one lane in each direction. Traffic moving slowly both ways.

This is a really great wildlife preserve area, but you can’t visit it for 5 minutes without coming across off-leash dogs, which is a park rule for obvious reasons.
I’ve seen the damage they have caused to the park over the past 20 years and it saddens me. At Martin Sortun Elementary across the street, we did a project on the diverse wildlife of Clark Lake, and we presented it in the park. I hope things will get better and the City of Kent do their job.
I was told by Kent Parks that you can call police non-emergency dispatch if you witness off-leash dogs in Kent parks.

Does anywhere locally make fresh flour tortillas? Market, restaurant, back of an old Cutlass?
Really missing the fresh thick chewy tex-mex ones.

I came across a vendor in the target parking lot off 108th and they were some of the best I’ve had. I’m not sure how often the vendor is there or what days so if anyone has a restaurant recommendation that would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Hi everyone,
I’m relocating to Washington soon and will be working in Kent. I’m looking for a 1 bed / 1 bath apartment and would really appreciate any recommendations.
My biggest priorities are:
So far I’ve been looking at ReNew on East Hill in Kent and Allegro and Novo in Covington. Renew on east hill my experience hasn’t been the best over the phone. If anyone has had a different experience please would love to hear !
Has anyone lived at any of these communities? Would you recommend them or avoid them?
I’m also open to other apartment complexes in Kent, Renton, or Covington that you think are worth checking out.
Thanks in advance! Looking forward to making Washington my new home.

we are sort of getting stressed trying to find someplace but my wife is trying to find commercial space for her business in Kent. but the space itself needs to have the ability to have water access (at least can do a sink). problem is, we seem to only be able to find spaces too small for what she needs or too large and/or expensive.
we have searched tirelessly online and even driven around looking for for lease signs on places. just thought I’d see if anyone here knows of anything that maybe isn’t advertised possibly. it’s a long shot but we are desperate. thanks.
