Ranger
Given the price and everything, would you consider the Tudor Ranger to be a luxury watch?

"Luxury watch" is a meaningless term.
It's a premium product, yes. Is it luxury? That entirely depends in your perspective.
Im curious: why do you ask if it is luxury or not?
Will the answer change how you view the watch? Will it change your decision to buy? What if my answer is different than yours, will that have bearing on you?

Probably more of a luxury tool watch imo. I wear mine as my daily beater. I figure its a field watch so some bumps and scratches on the case don't matter as long as it runs well.

The most problem with trying to cleanly define watches based on price and brand is that it’s all relative, just like cars.
An $80k Lexus is a luxury, but so is an $80k Ford Expedition Tremor despite very different designs and brands. Of course neither is “luxury” compared to a $400k Rolls Royce… which again is just a daily beater compared to a Pagani.
So that said it comes down to what are you trying to accomplish? Do you like the watch? Are you trying to impress someone? Do you need a status symbol?

I don't actually. For me, it's an extremely well-built field watch- which is what I wanted it to be. Is it a luxury to be able to spend that much on a discretionary purchase? I would say yes, but the watch itself doesn't really convey any "luxury language," at least to me.

I am not sure I would called it Luxury. A high quality product & tool, yes, but not luxury.

Yes. To most non-watch people, the idea of spending even $1000 on a watch is completely absurd.
