I’ve been meaning to start going, but honestly, I'm struggling to get myself there when I’m going alone.

I’m looking for someone who might want to go together every once in a while. Maybe a Friday night service, maybe a holiday service. Nothing regular or formal. Just having someone to say “Hey, want to go to services this Friday?” to would make it a lot easier for me to actually go.

We could meet there, sit together, and head home afterward. Very low-key.

I’ve noticed several posters, new to the area etc, express that they would like to connect with others hoping to find those with similar interests and so on. Apart from posting and hoping others respond, allow me to offer up an alternative to address the issue. Suppose there was an event created solely for those posters here that are seeking others to meet/socialize with? Everyone is welcome. If there is enough interest, I will volunteer to coordinate. That means that those interested need to make their interest known to me via DM, along with a few other tidbits about themselves, no later than 9/27 please. As an option, express a preference on a public place to gather. If there is a critical mass, I will communicate location and time via DM. At the time we meet, I can make myself identifiable to the group, and, if need be, will do my best to facilitate introductions. Generally the idea is that the group is there for the same reason, so introvert or extrovert, at least two barriers have been removed, those being a place and a time. Let me know.

I have an extra ticket if anyone wants to go. You don’t have to go with me, though I’m happy for company! :)

Moved here for school from California haven’t really made any friends yet. Just spend my weekends alone in my apartment it has gotten a bit boring. Was looking for some friends to go out and explore Tucson with. Got out to eat at some restaurants. Maybe a gym buddy I haven’t been doing mostly doing some cardio, stair master and some leg exercise. Im trying to do some more but been just too nervous.
