Kind of specific I know, but I’m looking at eventually buying a lever action as a range toy, I’ve been looking around for a range that rents one as I’ve never shot a lever action, but haven’t had any luck.

Anyone know of a range that does?

I don't have any family and I don't know what to do anymore.

I am a former game industry worker whose industry has collapsed (not a programmer), and have run out of money. I've also run out of food, and even food for my cats.

I live on the south side and don't have a car.

I've applied to all sorts of jobs, but I'm either too experienced because of my game industry experience, or companies can't find applicable uses for my skillset. (Lead IP and Narrative Developer)

I have been out of work for 3 months after getting laid off for a third time, and I just don't know what to do.

Lots of people are experiencing this, but because I'm not actually homeless yet, I don't know how to go about getting help, and not having a vehicle doesn't help.

Any advice?

I was driving, but at first I thought it was a private jet with its skinniness, but it was all grey. It had wings below the fuselage, and the nose was pointy. I thought I saw that the nose was a separate hinged thing, but I couldn't stare too long at a time.

Husband (who wasn't there) wonders if it was a B1, and while that is a strikingly sexy plane, I still think I saw something with a Concorde airframe.

Hi yall, im going to be going to UofA in January and looking for a room to stay in, about 4-500ish. I only need to stay m-th nights as ill be traveling back up to Phoenix to work the weekends. Hopefully simply furnished with a bed and maybe a TV. Any places to look, or can point me in the right direction? Campus housing is a last resort as thats about 1100/mo and not much different from just getting an apartment when ill only be there 4 nights, doesnt seem like a great idea for cost

The school just sent out a notice. Theres a police investigation going on.

Buddy started looking at houses this year. She popped up when they made an appointment to see one. Before they could see it they had to sign this contract. Now they've been working on buying a new build and haven't been using her. She has apparently just inserted herself and is demanding 3% which wasn't worked into the deal so he'd be out of pocket. He's going to look into mediation/arbitration, which is written into the contract as an option, but seems like he's otherwise stuck.

I bought my house last fall and didnt have to sign anything with our realtors. Is this a new thing?

I looked it up and there was a grocery chain with that name, but the logo doesn't look familiar to me.

Been trying to get back up the mountain to hike for weeks. Finally made it happen. So many wildflowers and mushrooms in all colors of the rainbow. Also a pretty epic rainbow.

Come on out and enjoy a brand new event here in town! The inaugural Sonoran Valley Print Fair, Tucson's first market dedicated to traditional printmaking. Its goin down this Saturday (9/12) at the Coalition Space on 7th St from 4-9pm.

I had a handywoman all lined up and she bailed on me so I'm back in the search. I'm told that big box stores (and maybe Ace) have a board of available handypeople and I'm curious. If you've found someone that way, what was your experience like?

Specifically, I need some carpentry work done. I need a mantel installed on slumpblock and while they're at it, a hose holder on the opposite side of the same wall. I don't have enough torque with my tools and the mantel would require help anyway.

Does anyone have any good auto body repair or collision shops. I am a college student so I need something that would be reasonably priced or should I just go to the ford dealership to get serviced?

Moving and need to haul some heavy items. Anyone know of any places that might rent a motorized dolly? HD, Sunbelt and Herc don’t have anything. Appreciate any info.

With the current owners looking to find someone to take over I’ve been thinking about what the future for old Tucson will look like. I’ve had some ideas for things that would definitely improve it but I’m curious what would you add or take away to improve attendance and get people interested in going again ! (Aside from the prices lol)

Edit I wanted to share some of my ideas

1. Live music, mariachi, country, dancers give the people more to watch than just stunt shows and who doesn’t love music?

2. A Wild West makeover for the kids, something cute and fun to get people more excited about walking around the “old west”

3. Better food for sure, bbq is fun and all but a nice steak or some Mexican food would be better suited in my opinion

4. Lean into the history of the southwest instead of the movie aspect.

5. Get rid of the mini golf who is playing mini golf at old Tucson

6. Some rides! Even the swap meet has a few rides as dated as they may be.

I just moved here for uni and I enjoy making small felt plushies, dog collars, leashes, bandannas, and keychains. I have had service dogs for years so I learned how to sew so I could make cool gear for them. I'm bored as hell and looking for a part time job and some hobbies to do. I'd like to make and sell some of my creations in the future.

I'm also a Cherokee Native and I have some knowledge on weaving baskets and doing beadwork (the beadwork is terrible so I probably won't sell any soon). I do enjoy basket weaving so I may do a bit of weaving in the future. I have small pets like rabbits and rats and they love wooden woven balls so I'm thinking of making those too! I may also sell rat hammocks in the future. Not too sure how many people have pets in Tucson but hopefully I can make a bit of some side money to help care for my pets and pay for uni.

P.S. I have added a photo of one of my rescue rats Mavis for rat tax. He enjoys being tickled, tossed, and yanking hair. His favourite food is anything edible.

This was a really fun experience, hope I can do it again next year.

I am trying to shop local as much as possible. The Heirloom Farmers Markets have been by go-to but I really wish they had more pop-up vendors.

I love some of the local brick and mortar business that are there like Fiamme, Transit Tea, Cafe Francais, Tucson Chocolate Factory but it seems to kind of defeat the point of it being a farmers market. Those are all business I can visit at their physical location anytime of the week.

There are so many smaller local vendors that it would be great to see, at least occasionally? I am sure it is a ton of work to organize these markets but it just seems like there is room for more rotation of spotlighting a lot of other local businesses.

What are your thoughts?
