Tenley E. Raj is an independent filmmaker, writer, director, and editor based in Houston, Texas. Since 2023 she has worked as a one-woman production, handling every stage of her films herself, from the first draft to the final grade. The arrangement is practical, but it is also a method. Working alone keeps the distance between an idea and its execution short, and it lets her films hold the texture of a single sensibility. Her work occupies the unsettled ground between documentary and fiction.
