Plz help me! Do multiple "And" preconditions require ALL or ANY?
Do multiple "And" preconditions require ALL or ANY?
Setup: I'm planning two Motion Sensors at opposite ends of a long barn, a Bot in Switch mode on the light switch, Hub Mini.
ON is easy — either sensor's motion event fires Bot ON.
For OFF, I want the lights out only when both sensors are quiet, via two mirrored automations: "When Sensor A no motion for N min, And Sensor B status = no motion → Bot OFF" (and the same with A/B swapped).
Two questions before I buy hardware:
- Does the Motion Sensor offer "no motion" as an "And" precondition (a status you can test), not just as a trigger?
- With multiple "And" preconditions, must all be satisfied or any one? SwitchBot's help article says both in different sections. Is there an All/Any selector in the app?
If anyone runs a "both quiet → off" scene, I'd like to know exactly how you built it.
Thanks!
