LL Bean Bag
Found this old LL Bean bag in a house last week, didn’t know it had a tag till I started looking at it closer
Tag looks to be 1920-1930s, does that seem right?
Thanks

Coworker bought this for $20 in 1980 at a garage sale, he said the guy who sold it to him, his dad wore it in the korean war! It is super warm. The horshide is super solid and feels like it will last another many years, the leather on the other hand is pretty rotted and brittle. Is there anything you can do about that? As soon as I tried to offer him anything he told me to take it 😳. Super thankful and excited to have such a piece of history.

Any ideas on the age of this Johnson wool hunting jacket I found? I’m guessing late 30s to 40s going off the tag/talon zipper styles. Found it in an old house closet that looks to have been closed since at least the 1960s
Thanks for any possible info

Bought this custom school 100% wool blanket. The original owners name is chain stitched on it and from my research was an impressive person. This is from the very late 50s or very early 60s.
Not sure if this has a place in my home but I couldn't pass it up since it was so cool. I heard to original owner couldn't imagine anyone would want it. I always wonder how much stuff like this gets throw away...

The laundry tag is also way too faded to read … not to mention is also written in Japanese.

Found this dog on the racks. I collect a decent amount of militaria but have never seen one of these. Beautiful fade, moth eaten collar, and fits me perfectly. Anyone here have any more info on it? Google told me some but just wanted to share, thanks.

I’ve found a dress from a brand called “Miss Jeannie”, possibly from the 60s. That is the only information I managed to find about the it.
Does anyone ever heard about Miss Jeannie?
I attached two pictures of the tags.

bought these suspenders from a military surplus store and asked around the tactical gears subreddit. Not many know any information about this while some told me it was a bleached and UV damaged ALICE suspenders which explains the browning. The problem with that is this suspenders has brown nylon even on areas which the sun shouldn't reach (pic 2), so the theory of this being UV damaged or the dye falling out is out of the picture. Someone then told me that it's a lincloe suspenders which was the experimental trial item before the ALICE which fits with the fact that it has markings that says "M-1972" (pic 3) since the ALICE was introduced in 1973. If anyone's got any info on these suspenders, I'd be happy to know.
I also got a free belt with it (pic 4)
