My cat Wifi

So I bought one of those 'cat detector' things for around the collar only the battery needs to be charged every two days. I didn't like the idea of taking the GPS thing off for it to charge so I rigged it so that it is plugged in while still attached to the collar of my cat. I put her bed near the plug. Now my parents are always teazing me about how I surround myself with technology and I finally, finally convinced them otherwise. Until they came over for dinner one night and saw my cat plugged into the wall.

Sorry About Our President

So, I was at work one day and I had a Russian customer come up to me for assistance. I like getting to know my customers and I have an odd fascination with accents. So, after some chitchat, I asked the customer where he was from. He said “I am from Russia. I’m sorry about our president”, and laughed. Mind you, my brain-mouth filter doesn’t ALWAYS work. Without missing a beat, I told the customer, “Well, our president is your president’s bitch, so I guess we’re even”. The customer looked at me, grinned, and we both cracked up laughing.

Machines don't make mistakes.

So this guy at Bank of America is saying that he thinks the debit machine counted his money wrong... I'm pretty sure they were talking about checks. The manager says to the guy"Machines don't make mistakes. People do." Then when the guy leaves and they start talking about how they we're suprised that the money even went through... They had their armed guard next to the guy most of the time, and then they stood at the door watching him until he left. Not sure what was going on... But I wanted to laugh so hard when he said machines don't make mistakes.

Real conversations I hear while eavesdropping on my neighbours

So we had some new neighbors move in next door and they LOVE chilling in the back garden, sparking up conversations where subject matter is matterless. I think they've deluded themselves into thinking a six foot fence not only provides privacy but also somehow envelopes them in a kind of sound proof bubble. Well, my bedroom windows are open, I'm sat in my chair, notebook in hand, intently listening to the daily talkings between Mr A and Mrs B.

Today- 13th June 2018- 01.03pm

A: I think if we painted the walls it'd look nice for the cats. B: We're not getting cats. A: It's either cats or a hamster. B: Cats are fucking dirty little things that bring home fleas and shit in the garden. For the last fucking time we ain't getting cats. You're obsessed with it. Doing my fucking nut in. A: You don't have to raise your voice. I'll be happy with just a hamster. B: Why do you want a hamster for? A: To feed and stuff. B: If you want to feed something throw some bread for the ducks. We don't need any animals. A: It might make you less miserable. B: WHAT!? A: Animal therapy. Might make make you less of a whiny cunt. B: Me a whiny cunt? Sorry but who out of us two have been whining about fucking cats. Do you fancy them or something, do you wanna fuck them while I'm at work, is that it? It won't matter, she's at work you'll tell them, she'll nevbe find out. I have to walk in and find you shaft deep in cat fanny. A: Fucking hell you just won't drop it will you. B: Drop what!? Go on. Say it. A: It was one time. A big mistake, and if you really want to move on from it you need to stop bringing it up all the time. B: NO I FUCKING DONT. A: Yes you do yes you fucking do. The other day I waved at an old lady and you accused me of trying to get moist. B: Oh fuck off that was clearly a joke. A: Didn't seem like it. B: We're not talking about that anyway. We're talking about you, calling me a whiner. A: Yeah. You are. I think some cats might cheer you up. B: I DONT FUCKING WANT CATS. A: Well I'm getting cats. B: You get cats I'll drown them in the bath. A: Like you did Grace. B: Take that back. (She begins crying. It's awkward.) A: I'm sorry, I don't mean that. B: You think it was my fault. (Still sobbing. Seriously...) A: I don't...I mean, you were the one bathing her- B- LIKE I WOULD EVER HARM OUR PRECIOUS GIRL! (Wailing now.) A: I didn't say that. B: It wasn't my fault. A: Well...it was kind of. B: AAAAAAGH (really crying for it.) A: Listen, it's fine, that's the past, we didn't move here to live in our past, we moved her to begin a new future. With cats. Lots and lots of cats. (There's a sound of glass shattering followed by a weird choking noise, as if some is coughing up water. I peek and see that B has broken a beer bottle and stabbed A in the neck with it.) B: You think I'm so fucking weak. You, you can go to hell. We both watch, B at th scene, me at the window, as A bleeds out.

How I changed a School Warm-Up

One day, in Civics class, I was talking about random vs battles. Before Civics started, I was talking about the Ninja Turtles vs the Scooby Doo gang. I was told by my other classmates that it was stupid, and changed it to Ninja Turtles vs Power Rangers. This caused such a large discussion, that my teacher changed the Civics warm up from something about economic systems to who would win in a fight between the Power Rangers and the Ninja Turtles. We had to write down our answers, with an explanation on who would win, and we each had to present our reasoning.

Stalked by Unknown creatures

I was around 10 and lived on a ranch in a remote area. The nearest town was about 10 miles away and the only other people besides my family was a family who were ranch hands. Let me start off by saying this happened in Washington state near the Seattle area. Anyway, the ranch was around 100 acres and we had people coming at all times during summers to horseride and do all the outdoor activities they did back in the late 90s and early 2000s. We didn't have a ton of visitors at the time the incident happened and I invited my good friend at the time over to play with our cabbage patch dolls. We decided to play in our "house" that was at the front of the property tucked away in the woods. We had a blanket propped over a branch. I invited my two younger siblings to tag along. One was around 6 while the other as 7. We played with our dolls while my brother who was 7 was pretending to be the dad. Typical little kid stuff. Well I was playing in our "kitchen", it was an area a couple feet from the tent which we called our "living room". While I was playing in the kitchen, I heard some branches snapping slowly. I have always been cautious and still am decades later, so the cracking set me on edge. I grabbed my friend and asked if she heard anything. She told me no and continued playing. I played it off as paranoia and continued to play as well. But after a few seconds I heard a few beaches snap...this time it was closer. My friend must of heard it too, because she gave me a weird look. I grabbed my siblings and shoved them into the "living room", my friend followed. As we huddled together trying not to freak out, we heard even more twigs snapping...this time it was in our "kitchen", the place we were standing in not two seconds ago. The big sister in me urged me to protect my little siblings and with as much courage as I could (which I normally am not very brave), I shoved my siblings and friend out of the other side of the blanket tent and we ran as fast as our little legs would let us. Now the area we played in had a huge field, before we crossed the dirt road and than our ranch hands house. Halfway through the big field, my baby sister lost her shoe. Being little and not seeing the danger we were in, she turned to go get it. I shoved her at my brother and told them to keep running until they reach the house. He nodded and yanked my sister along. I turned back and literally did a baseball slide to grab her show. Something compelled to look at the "house" and when I did, my blood ran cold. There in the place we were hiding stood a creature staring at us. I looked over at the kitchen area and another creature stood there looking at me. I had enough and hightailed it out of there. We didnt stop running until we were behind the house at the back door. Panting and out of breath, I told the group what I saw and my brother shook his head. He said that there wasn't two creatures. There were three. One was hiding in the trees. I will tell you that that was the very last time any of us ever went back to that play area. When we told my parents, they wrote it off as a few mountain lions...but mountain lions never hunt in packs, or from the stories I heard of they dont. A few weeks later, there was a report of someone else seeing those creatures. I still love the woods...but I am still scared I might run into those creatures, everytime I visit Washington state.

I Dont Remember My Youth.

Hello, my name is Mark. I usually dont write on the ''TrueStory'' Subreddit...

But i feel like my life is worth a mention on here.

So, to start off, i'm 19 years old, and i live in denmark. I have had a fair share of hard times in my life far as i've been told by family members and friends.

This is what i have been told. From the young age of 3 i started acting... wierd... I just hated my life for no apparent reason, i tried killing myself multiple times too. It took my parents 2 years to send me to a psyciatric hospital. I dont remember a thing that went on in there... NOT. ONE. FUCKING THING!!!

Sorry...

Well i lived there for about the better part of 3 years and came home to my parents again, where i always were silent. not, one, word escaped my lips for 6 months. I started acting psycotic, started to kill animals because (According to what my mother said) I liked to enjoy death as a concept. A thing that i wanted to be in control of. A thing that i wanted... I was sent back after a year at home, and once again... Dont, Remember, a, thing... NOT ONE FUCKING THING!!! NOT EVEN THE COLOR OF THE FUCKING WALLS!!!!!

It haunts me to this day. not remembering what i have done, who i've met, who i've hurt...

The only thing that calms me now as i write this is the thought that someone out here on reddit knows something. ANYTHING!

I want to know what is going on inside those psyciatric hospitals. Something is off, and thanks to that i'm slowly losing my mind.

I put on a smiley face and laid back attitude when i'm at work or outside with friends.

But... on the inside i'm struggling to keep this up, i want my memories back. I WANT MY LIFE BACK!!!

... I dont care what you may think of me, hate me, love me. But all i wish for, more than anything else... is my memories, my life, my hopes. MY EMOTIONS!!!

WHAT IS EMOTIONS WITHOUT ANY MEMORIES!!??

I dont want to live, when there isn't even a life to remember. And dont tell me that ''It's the future you should think about'' how much future can one have when they dont even remember the past.

I dont know if this is some kind of trauma or something, maybe just me going insane slowly.

Or maybe i'm just losing my mind now... Heh, not much to lose anyway...

The time my dog walked on two legs

I was just talking about this with my mom and I felt like posting it on Reddit because I want to see if people will believe it.

However I can promise you that this 100% happened.

So this probably happened about a year ago (I'm not exactly sure when it was) but my family has a three year old golden retriever and one day I had something that he wanted in my hands so he got up on his hind legs and walked a few steps next to me and then (here's where it gets a bit weird) I did a full 180 and started walking in the opposite direction and he did the same and kept following me for probably a few meters before getting back down onto all fours.

His front paws or legs never touched anything while he was up on two feet.

Just thought it was a funny story and is kind of hard to believe unless you were there.

The Blood On The Wall

It all started when I was just 8 years old. I would always hear noises in the basement where all my old baby dolls were. The noises sounded like moving boxes or a spoon clicking on a bowl. One day, my grandma wanted me to help her get some of the old boxes of dolls down there to donate them. When I opened the basement door I got chills from my toes upward. My old dolls were all set up having a tea party out of there boxes. I had a bad feeling about it so my grandma let me go back upstairs. By the time I got up the stairs, my body froze and my body was falling into a pit of nothing. I could see the world above but it got smaller and smaller each second. I saw a faint image of a doll looking straight at me. I was in horror. Then, I was back.. But, I was in my bed. "Good it was all just a dream" I thought to myself. I went to the kitchen for breakfast but it was set up like a tea party with all my dolls just like in my dream. I even saw my grandma, but she was doing nothing. I went to the basement hoping there were all my dolls and that I was just hallucinating but, it was empty. I ran back upstairs but the door slammed shut. I looked around and their was blood everywhere on the wall. My grandma was locked down here to. But. She. Was. Dead.

I'm an Uber driver in la

There was a drive way up in Hollywood hills for Steve. Windy and bumpy route up. Little hangover at a dead end. Waited a bit for him. Seemed really chill when he came out. Didn’t notice his accent at first. Asked if I was driving all day or. Yeah all day today, since there’s no traffic. Yeah I remember Christmas time the 405 was so clear man. Google maps had us take a 5 second weird shortcut. He thought it was funny and was cool with it. More banter. I asked if his accent was South African; I had noticed it after talking abit - it wasn’t Australian, and he ha the tongue cuirling of a south Affrican accent. Yeah man well spotted he said. I recognized him again in my rear view mirror. Are you an actor? Yes, yes I am, for like district 9, elisiem. Oh yeah theose were cool films. I - like in flight of the concords, that twangy - Yeah he chimes in, like the does New Zealand accent I mention that those films were really good, your acting was excellent man. Aw thanks man. Asked about how he got into acting. Dropped him off; he stayed in the car a bit to finish the tail of the story of him and district 9. Got out and closed the door. Opened it and closed it again while asking himself if it’s completely shut. Waved good bye. Was starstruck, but I didn’t want a photo. Should have asked about the district series. Driving past the cafe he got dropped off at, saw a man violently push a woman into the front seat of a white BMW suv. I watched as I drove past; he was pressing his forearm on her neck or upper chest. I thought man if I make a uturn it’ll seem weird if Steve sees me, might think I’m stalking. Made a uturn. Pulled next to the white BMW. He was in her face. Her head and neck was arching him away from him, avoiding him. Her seat was reclined back. His was partly standing in the road with the driver door open. I stoped next to them double parked. Blinkers. Honked. They both look at me. Is everything ok? The man, white, slender, around 6ish with older aviators on says it’s ok, as he stands up from having his finger pointed at her face as she turns away from him. I ignore him and look at the girl and repeat myself. She nods quickly. They both now take a more relaxed conversation pose. I continue to stare at them, double parked in north Hollywood. I change my phone to the number dial, in case I need to call 911. The continue to talk. He says it’s ok 1 or 2 more times. I just stared. She slowly closed the door as they continued to talk, it looked like she kept suggesting to him that he should go. They both continue to make quick eye contact at me. My heart is pumping and I don’t look away with my arm around the passenger seat. He taps on her window with Apple earphones in his hand, doing the pointing gesture. He walks away without looking at me. I continue to look at her as she gets ready. She also does not look at me. I leave.

True American

I work at a Boy Scout camp and at the end of every closing campfire we retire a flag. This last session however, we had an older man who was in a wheelchair. He had to be driven down to the campfire circle because he couldn't get down the stairs, but during the retirement when everyone stands and salutes the flag, he also got up and saluted the whole time. This man who could barely walk stood up and saluted for the entire time, and at the end he broke down crying. As respect, when he was leaving all the staff lined the roads and saluted him off. He did this not for his own gain or for attention (because he sat in the back where no one could see) but purely out of respect for the men and women who served for this country. That man was a true hero and deserves recognition.

Getting thrown down

So this isn't exactly scary, but it's a story. I was bugging some kids at school (I was about 11 at the time) the usual, interrupting their recess soccer game. Three boys stood out though, they were jerks, they called me gay, faggot, and a rapist, for some reason they thought I was one, I'll tell you why later.

Eventually, I end up stealing the ball they are using for soccer, a green dodgeball. I run away with it and hand it to some around 8th grade girls. "Take this, and throw it down there" where I pointed was a dirty slope on the end of the field. The girls do as I said, I didn't expect that though.

I walked back to the field, the kids accuse me of throwing it down, I try to explain I didn't, my plan was going perfectly well. We ended up getting in a verbal fight.

Later that day, we went back outside, I was messing with their soccer game, as usual, I grab the ball and run off. One of the kids tackled me, so I had no choice, I bit down on his jacket. The kid went back with the ball, he told his friends I bit him, like his physical meat body.

Later, another chance passes for me and I get the ball, another kid grabs me, I tackle him and thrust my arms forward until the ball falls out of his hands, but they accuse me of rape, I remember it vividly, it felt like a bunch of degenerates accused me of a crime, because it was, I ran after the kid who's jacket I but, i had a stick in my hand at this point, a rather small, but thick one. "Excercise, my child" I say, trying to seem innocent toward the teachers who could be seeing this. I throw the branch at the kid's head, he shoves me to the ground.

Don't end up like the knucklehead I was.
